Punch bowl coming to to entertainment block? https://www.biztimes.com/2018/industries/food-beverage/punch-bowl-social-planning-milwaukee-location/
Never heard of it but sounds cool.

To be fair, it was more likely that they would move the HQ to Milwaukee than out of state. They are currently headquartered in Brookfield.

Fiserv has grown exponentially in the last ten years or so. They are one of the biggest companies in the state and make more sense than some of the other companies mentioned on here (lie Harley).

There was also some talk about Atlanta. I know the odds were low they’d move cities but still would be nice to keep it in Milwaukee

From the final lines about the company being local and having a national (note Edens did not say international?) presence:

And while that eliminates a lot of major employers, it still leaves a number of other major names like Kohler, SC Johnson, Milwaukee Tool, Rockwell Automation and Robert W. Baird.

If they name it the Robert W. Baird & Company Arena I will fall out of my chair laughing.

Am I the only one who gets an ISIS hostage vibe from this video?

Lawl, yes.

They're treating me well. The NBA needs to stop intervening in areas where they're not wanted. And I've converted to ____.

I guess I'm rooting for Rockwell in that list.

Well, at least we'll get to know the name of the arena soon. (Supposedly. Or, they'll just delay it until their annual block party, which they always seem to do.)

Oh, and if we're going off the whole internet domain thing, the name of the new arena will be the Milwaukee Tool Arena. (milwaukeetoolarena.com was created on 4-25-18 according to go daddy.) I'm starting to become skeptical of using the domain thing to predict the arena name though. Wish they'd just announce it and get it over with.

I could see Milwaukee Tool being a legit potential sponsor. I always see them on the ad boards of Premiere League games and the naming of the arena is another potential global sports sponsorship.

Jason Kidd not being the coach when Tool Arena opens up is an injustice.

Milwaukee Tool would be perfect! It would be the MT Arena, lol. And after its first season, the name will be so fitting, so very very fitting.

MKE tools would be nice (I'm actually a big fan and user) but does it still have anything to do with MKE? I know they belong to a Hong Kong group for over a decade now and all my Milwaukee tools say "made in China" on them LOL

They still have around 1,000 employees (with plans for more) at their HQ in Brookfield. And they still make stuff in Mississippi so it’s not all China.

They should make more
Talking to various woodworkers now that everybody's had their fill of cheap tools people seem to miss and appreciate locally made stuff a little bit more.

I think it should be George Webb Arena. Then they could have two scoreboards.

Going on a private tour of the new place on Friday afternoon with the general contractor of the project. My brother in law is neighbors with the guy who is running the show and he is giving 4 of us a tour. If anyone has any specific questions I'd be happy to ask
"This is my home, this is my city...I'm blessed to be a part of the Milwaukee Bucks for the next 5 years. Let's make these years count. The show goes on, let's get it."
