Dipo didn't touch the ball once on that possession. He should be involved in every play.

No shyt.

To think I was giving him credit also for the three guard lineup they had earlier this game that went on a mini run. I just don't understand not putting in Dipo (or even Collison, who was doing a solid job getting to his spots) when LeBron was on the bench. They kept settling for jumpers when they reason they're in this game was because of their ability to get in the paint and collapse the defense.

Agreed. being able to get into the paint at will was Indy's only chance. Always wondered how a coach can see something working and go completely against it. maybe they should coach from a monitor or something

Myles Turner moved within 15 feet?! Look at that! He spent the entire game on the perimeter (even when JR was guarding him) and didn't do anything. He moves to the dunking spot on the baseline and he finishes the first time he touches the ball. I understand the need for spacing, but he literally did nothing before this.

I'd run 4 guards out there if I could with LeBron out.

Honestly, even with LeBron out there. Collison, Dipo, Lance (or CoJo), Bogdanovich, and Turner (or even Young? Not sure, but I'd think about that.). Defensive rebounding could be problematic, but it's been horrible this game anyway and they could just have everyone crash and not leak out.

Meh, different team. That said, I can see it happening depending on how they do next year. This game though has been a major black mark on Nate's season, IMO.

That's what you never should have stopped doing Indy. Attack the paint.

doesn't he have the reputation of having the slowest paced teams in the league as head coach. i remember a lot of people saying nate was a bad hire for indiana
