Gotta be mentally tough, especially when we get BS calls and no calls. Gotta keep our heads in the game.

Re: Is Anyone Seriously Scared of Cavs?
Game 1 and 2 will decide the series. There is no fathomable reason we should lose either game. If we go to Cleveland tied 1-1 then it’s not looking good. As long as we’re not petrified I can’t see the Cavs beating us at home. And if it takes 7 then so be it, just win all the home games.
I’m calling Raps in 5. They saw a very ordinary team get stretched to 7 games and almost lose. There is no reason to be intimidated if Indiana wasn’t. James is wearing down and it should really show in round 2. He looked great today but he may have hurt himself and he was playing on game 7 adrenaline. It’s gonna catch up to him.

The Suns got smacked around by the Spurs for years. Then they swept them. I think we get them this time.

Re: Is Anyone Seriously Scared of Cavs?
Am I scared of the cavs? No
Am I scared of the refs? Hella yes, did you people see what they did against Indiana?
Minus the basket for Indiana, turner fouls out, and cavs instead get automatic two free throws, instead of 4 pt game, became an 8 pt game, even all three abc announcers said that wasn't a foul, utter bs, and then Indiana couldn't go inside anymore and had to jack threes. NBA is corrupt. All that said...
We are the far far better team this year, we don't have scrubs like Patterson, Joseph, Carroll from last year. We've crushed them at home and played them close in Cleveland, this team has no business beating us. I hope none of the raps players are reading some of the garbage being posted by some raps fans here already admitting defeat. The raps coaching team should instill a social media blockout on this raps team and tell them they should destroy this team, otherwise I fear mental impact.
If this team does not make the finals this year, they won't do it for the next 8 years cuz philly will take it. This has to be our year. People rally behind your team and get the mentality as a city that these trash cavs team has no business beating us.

LeBron, Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson will have their way with us.
If we are smart and not double LeBron leaving the wide open 3 for Love we may have a chance, but not much of one.

The good thing about this is that is only the 2nd round and we are well rested. Cavs had to fight tooth and nail ato take out the Pacers. We have no excuses now.

Personally, I'd feel much better with TT getting big minutes. The lineup the Cavs went with the previous few games (Love/LeBron/Smith/Korver/Calderon, but likely Hill instead of Jose) would be a matchup nightmare for us. JV would be forced into guarding Love and Ibaka would be guarding Smith, which would both result in many open threes. On the other end, Ibaka doesn't post up near as often to take advantage of someone like Smith on him. If the Cavs put TT at the 5 and Love at 4, that's when JV/Ibaka will have their best chance on both ends.

Raps best line up has included FVV with DD and Lowry late in the 4th. In the last 2 meetings vs the cavs, Casey never used that line up, he's saving it for the playoffs vs Cavs.

Cavs will get more help against us compare to the indy series, They don't need to fight tooth and nail against us if we mentally fight against ourselves. Yes Demar and Lowry has stayed composed in the 1st RD and I hope they keep it that way but once they start fighting with refs they will fall back to their iso ways then it'll be hard to win

I think if we played the Pacers we would have had the same type of series. They just have so many scrappy guys that can really cause issues for you on both sides of the court.
I said this is another thread, but I think we are a better matchup for the Cavs than the Pacers were. We have no one that can really lock down a guy or get under the skin like Stephenson or Oladipo are able to.

We need perimeter D and 3 point shooting on the floor.
I would go
Paskal/Serge/OG
DD/KL
Then
Jak/JV/Miles
Freddy/Delon
The main thing is that they will go to eight players so the second unit has to beat them down for running a tight rotation.

Uuuh I think haymaker Serge can get under their skin, ditto OG and elbows JV. If we threw their biggest players in a ring with ours we'd kick their collective arses. Tristan is Markief with better rebounding.
