TOR vs. CLE/IND - ECSF Schedule

So it looks like we will alternate the 6 pm vs. 8:30 pm slot with Boston/Philly, as game 4 we get 8:30, they get 6 pm.

I suspect after game 4, it will just depend on drama. Like a 2-2 series more likely to get the 8:30 vs. a 3-1. Either way, as many of said, I still don't get why they put the two Eastern matchups on the same night. Now one game always has to be 6 pm now and another game has to be really late at 8:30. If we pair with a Western matchup we would do 7 pm or 8 pm. So much easier. This makes no sense.

Although playing in the 8:30 Saturday night slot on ABC feels very big time.

The Bruins have home games on Wednesday and Friday nights. The ACC has a Kygo concert on Wednesday and Stars on Ice on Friday. And the league's hands were tied with maintaining a 2-3 day pace for the schedule.

If Cleveland had beaten Indiana in 6, CLE/TOR probably would have had Games 1 and 2 on Sun/Tues. Then Game 3 would have been on Friday with the Pelicans game moved to Thursday. Utah wouldn't have moved to Thursday as they have an Eagles concert that night.

Why would they schedule two east coast games on the same night. Couldn't they have a western conference came start at 9:30 or 10?

That 6pm start time on Thursday is awful for me pure garbage!
