He's certainly talented. Has a similar profile to Mitchell in a lot of ways.

Cavs for #8 in a last ditch effort to keep Lebron still seems possible.

It’s too early in the day out here for spontaneous erections! Don’t do this to me!!

I can't see it happen (the trade, that is...). The Cavs would have to increase their lux tax by several zillion dollars for a guard who can't hit jumpers. And for that honor, they get to draft lower.

I know it won't happen. I'm just playing off GM Lebron and his love for 'Baby Lebron'. And, my desire to get Bledsoe off the Bucks :)

Extremely talented. He also has a lot of room to grow. Some of the issues that 'plagued' him as a prospect when DX first wrote about him in 2017 were still present through his Freshman season. BUT, he also was recovering from a meniscus injury so he didn't really get the burn until Brown went down. But, man, when he got PT he lit it up. He was hitting 44% on 7.5 3's/game in February (?) if I'm not mistaken. Either way, very athletic. Really good length though average size. He bulked up some. Great bounce. There's a lot to like for an NBA profile given he's still 19 and has lots of his game left to fill out. I think he could be a real nice 3 and D player if given the opportunity.

EDIT: I also can see the Mitchell comparison though Mitchell, right now, is a better ballhandler. But, yeah, very very similar bounce and quick release.

You'd obviously be getting back a junk contract to make salaries work (they'd try to include Tristan but I'd counter with JR), so I don't see why the Cavs wouldn't possibly go for something like Bledsoe + #17 for JR + #8 if they don't really love anyone at #8.

Thread should be updated to discuss prospects in our range and trade options.

What do you all think it would take to move up to draft Bamba? And would you pull the trigger?

I think #17, Henson, and Middleton would do it and yes I would do it.

Lower IQ. Not always sure how to rate that.

I'd probably do a Bledsoe/17 for Thompson/8. Thompson's contract is bad for a bad player with Kardashian disease and serial philandering (jeez, what baggage after typing that out), and I actually really like Bledsoe, but 8 might net you a game changer more often than 17.

The problem is that Middleton and Parker are too much alike. Need help else where. Middleton has better value.

Bucks do not want draft picks, looking to build around Giannis now......I would be surprised if they don't trade their current pick

People are forgetting how awful PG was before the Bledsoe trade I see.

They should have been working threw the draft the whole time. Not picking up trash threw Free Agency.

You're right. And, if the proposition is we're forgetting (which we aren't) then the proposition must also be Bledsoe was a good PG? My response to this is:

Would be interested in a 3 for 1 trade down with ATL>PHI>BRK.

I don't think either are "point guards" but both did good and had fine seasons playing that guard position.

Middleton's contract ends in one year though. He will get paid a lot of money and it's the team of his choice.

Bamba will be paid his rookie contract and then he is a restricted free agent.

If we do keep Jabari I want a guy like Bamba protecting the rim. If Jabari is going elsewhere I would still look at moving up but for a wing or PG.
