I'm not going to speak for an entire fanbase because I don't like generalizing an entire group of people unlike some in this thread, but I did not think that the Celtics were some terrible team. It's respectable you guys are competitive given all the injuries. However, I PREDICT that we will win the series. That's not being cocky, that's having an opinion and guessing the outcome because that's what we all can do sitting on the couch. And a prediction that many Celtics fans would agree given the amount of times we have rightfully heard about Hayward and Irving being injured.

Enjoy the game ya'll. Should be a fun series.

Our board is going hard cause of all the disrespect. You came here and with this post you aren't doing yourself any favors.

Chill, be humble. Either team can win. Plus it's just a game, enjoy it! Whatever happens happens as I wrote a few pages back.

I'm saying that's what I think will happen. I'm a fan, that's all I can do--have an opinion on outcomes and guess at what will happen. How is that being disrespectful?

Kyrie is a great player but I think his value as seen around the league is higher than his impact on the court. That's not to say he's not a really impactful player (trust me, as a Cavs fan I've seen what he can do on the highest stage) but he gives back some of what he provides on offense on the defensive end. And his injury history doesn't look the best so far.

If you can trade Kyrie, the Sacramento pick, the Memphis pick, and a Boston pick for Anthony Davis, I think you have to do it.

Rozier/Hayward/Tatum/Horford/Davis with Smart, Brown, and Morris off the bench can legitimately contend for a title next year and years to come.

The hell?

How much crack do you anticipate the Pelicans GM smoking before this call?

I'm just amazed at all the Jazz fans trying to make up trade scenarios with Hayward out and Cavs fans with Kyrie out.

Look back in this thread and see how many Philly fans disagree with you. They are even saying Celtics aren't contenders with Kyrie and Hayward.

Screw the team, I wanna talk about you, beefcake. I think you have potential.

Beyond the fan wars, this one seems like a pretty good series going forward.

Relax, mate. They have two top ten players. They'll be fine.

Enbiid is top 5. He's better than Kyrie and Gordon combined. Shocking they're not you by at least 25 right now

I understand it's a league of stars but combined? Simmons isn't a top ten player.......yet. Also defensively Boston has done pretty good vs Embiid this season, I believe he shot in the low 30's twice.

I completely agree. Enbiid is still young and immature. Simmons is overrated and can't shoot. I was making fun of a few posters from earlier who thought it was ridiculous to compare Irving/Gordon being out to potentially not having Embiid and Simmons.

Chill.

This is obviously assuming Davis has made it clear he wants out. Cousins tore his achilles and is demanding major money and might never be the same. NO doesn't exactly have internal improvements to be made and they have no draft picks coming in. I don't think making it past the first round is all AD has hoped for, especially if they get swept by Golden State. People laugh at scenarios like this, but you never know what can happen in one summer. I mean no one would've thought Kyrie would've gotten traded this past offseason.

If you have to make a trade as the Pelicans GM, Kyrie, two lottery picks, and another pick is as good of an offer as you can hope for.

76ers defence is awful today. They gotta stop allowing Boston to shoot 3s.

Bucks defense definitley was better. Especially when they switched Giannis to center.
