I didnt say he would be bad. I said he wouldn't be THIS good. You're lying to yourself if you think he would be doing all this playing behind both of those guys all year.

He wouldn’t have been because they both started opening night

The argument before was Tatum is only good because he was playing WITH KYRIE.

Oh, how things changed.

There is no hope for Markelle Fultz.

Simmons refusal and/or inability to shoot lowkey crippled the Philly offense tonight. Credit Brad Stevens for gameplanning that but he has to be aggressive to score next game regardless of how they play him.

He does chase the triple double a whole lot. He can be passive until it’s panic time when his team could use it early. It’s fine when team is hitting shots but on the road a star player needs to be aggressive early

I would say good game to the PHI fans but they abandoned this thread long ago...

On to game 2. #humbled.

If you actually picked a Philly sweep come take your lumps. Just complete disrespect for the C's.

Not even garbage time? The game is lost. He's the #1 pick

Yeah - it’s pretty strange they won’t play him. Wonder why? Maybe too nervous cause it’s the playoffs?

Don't think I've seen anyone sook harder than Smart before. To be fair he deserves a few hits for the amount of flops he takes.

Philly back to the drawing board. Never looked a chance all game. Rozier/Tatum were superb.

Damn, Hot Plate Yabusele is packing some pounds.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

I thought Tatum only looked so good because he was an afterthought for defenses?

As long as Tatum is around, the Fultz talk won't stop unless he reaches Tatum's level.

People still bring up the Pistons drafting Darco back in 03 over Melo+Bosh+Wade. Not that Fultz is a bust but if Tatum becomes an all-star and he doesn't, the talk will stay alive.

Simmons with more turnovers than FG's. They are going to play him like the Greek and hope they don't kill it from 3. If they don't only Embiid can explode on offense.
