Yeah I was so let down by Simmons, I thought we were preparing ourselves for Magic/Lebron hybrid there!

Stay classy Bston. We expect nothing less ;)

So was all the **** talking you did "classy"? Is it okay for you but not others? Yeah it's just one game but you ran your mouth nonstop, have to expect to get some back.

I found it stupid when some said that the sixers were gonna steamroll the Celtics and I find it stupid that some would think the sixers are exposed because they lost one game in Boston...

I won’t be, each game is just a development bonus. They’re not getting a championship this year so I’m not going to get wrapped up if they lose to a middling team that’s just gonna lose to the next team they play.

I’m glad we got a preview of the restored rivalry of the east. It’s going to be fun the next few seasons in the east.

You do realise that with the exception of one or two pieces the same applies to the C's yes?

Also fans are celebrating the win and messing around with people who were expecting a blowout win for the sixers. So the banter is well deserved.

Or you know, people who predicted that the Celtics are absolutely outhmatcehd would be eating crow?
I think most expected a good series. Steven's is too good of a coach to not get the most out of his guys.

I personally think philly will figure it out and win the series, but I expected this to be a pretty entertaining back and forth series.

Super impressed by Horford. Thought he was BBQ chicken for Embiid but he more than held his ground. Felt like he made the correct read every time.

Terry,Baynes,Tatum Smart all balled out too.

And then when Sixers are done with you, you can re-watch this game all summer.

Meh, we'd be too excited to have a fully healthy team next season.

But what will you look forward to if you lose? Another year of development to again get bounced by the Celtics.

Kyrie and healthy don’t tempt fate.

people still on this?

They are coached well. Think of them as the heat on d but with 3 or 4 offensive threats. Tatum, brown, horford, rozier can all score.

Not as worried about Simmons in this series. He can contained by his lack of jump shot. Embiid is the guy that will decide the series. Tonight he looked slow as hell on defense.

Why would we eat crow? We’re the underdogs in this series and should lose if Philly are who their fans think they are.

And forgive us for getting excited. We’re missing 3 of our starters. We really have no business even being 1-0.

Celtics objectively have the better future then Philly.

This is hindsight. At the time, Fultz was almost a unanimous first pick, (yes, yes, I know, smartest man ever Danny Ainge always knew that Tatum would be the second coming and was always going to pick him no matter what), the point is that every ranking at the time had Fultz as #1.

Of course, it looks bad now since Fultz got a case of the ultra-yips.

Anyone calling this a sweep was foolish. Two top sides, I think 6ers in 6 but if not I'd go Boston in 7.

Getting on Celtics fans for enjoying a blowout win over a favored Sixers team without Hayward, Kyrie, Brown and Theis just looks salty.

Don’t think anyone should of thought this would be a sweep. Was some horrible game planning by Brown though.

To be fair to Philly though, they rely a lot on their shooters and shot 19% from 3 today.

A lot of those 3s were wide open. I don't think that will happen again.

Also don't think the Celtics can keep shooting 47% from 3.
