Seriously?

Ok
It breaks down like this...

Overall depth chart for this series:

1. Lebron - CLE
2. Derozan - TOR
3. Lowry - TOR
4. Valanciunas - TOR
5. Van Vleet- TOR
6. Love - CLE
7. Siakam - TOR
8. OG - TOR
9. Wright - TOR
10. Hill - CLE

Then getting into the next 10 .... the Cavs have a bunch of erratic scorers that offer very little defensive effort, while Toronto has a bunch of defenders that offer offensive support.

Love is better that FVV

Link? I find it hard to believe a worldwide network would trash Canada "just because".
They complain about the weather and than go to NY where its the same and sometimes worse. You have idiot Dj's playing "Born in the USA" against us like its some sort of jab but most of the team is from America. You have fans chanting U.S.A for the same moronic reasons.

Logically, yes that's all dumb, but teams do all kinds of childish things to get fans behind the home team. It really shouldn't upset you so much. I promise you there is no grand anti-canada agenda being worked.

grand anti-canada agenda? no. petty anti-canada agenda? yes.

That's kinda what I was getting at.
I don't think anyone in Canada really cares about it that much, its just more annoying than anything.

Oh god I hope we don't do that.

At worst, I'd rather see Lebron go for 81 than have guys like Calderon, Green and Hill clown us with their sustained 90% FG shooting like in previous games.

Not only did this exact same strategy fail for Indiana last week, everyone says the Cavs are all bums except for Lebron and he’s playing by himself. So one would think the solution would be to stop the guy getting 40 by taking layups.

But perhaps OG truly is the Lebron stopper. We shall see (we being non raptor fans).

I think you will see Siakam get most of the big minutes against Lebron.

I'm not expecting anyone on this team to stop Lebron. Indiana took Lebron to 7 games and actually looked competitive.

Something our Barney's haven't accomplished in the past few playoff series.

We might as well go all in on offense against Cleveland and force Lue to matchup Tristan Thompson on JV. One less shooter to worry about on Cleveland's end

Raptors tried both stategies: doubling LeBron and letting the role players beat them, as well as letting LeBron get his points while staying home on everyone else. Neither worked in the last two post-seasons. I think we'll see a bit of both in this series.

I wouldn't say that the strategy failed Indiana - it was their own offense and McMillan keeping Dipo on the bench while LeBron was out. A few more shots going their way (or a few calls) and Indy would be in the second round.
The other guys on Cavs are pretty good when LeBron attracts all the attention, gets doubled, passes and all they need is to make the shot. When they have to create opportunities themselves, they struggle.

Love is still better than FVV and probably even JV. Recency bias is taking you over if you think all star Kevin Love is not as good as FVV/JV. One bad series doesn't change that.

Also Lowry > DeRozan

Aside from that, a fairly accurate top 10 players in this series list

Bruno the next KD

The Bruno thing was a joke, nobody actually believed that.

Also, once again showing you don't know crucial information, VanVleet was undrafted, not a draftee. But that doesn't change the fact he finished 10th among all PGs this year in Real Plus Minus and 4th in the entire NBA in Net Rating at +12.1, only behind CP3, Curry and Gordon

Derozan / Lowry are basically tied for 2nd

You HAVE TO HAVE a recency bias because in a playoff series its all about who is playing well right now and this year...

Both JV and FVV have had a greater impact on winning than Love
