He reminds me of Bynum.

Yeah, because Philly would keep it. Celtics only get it if it’s 2-5 I believe.

Then, it will be even funnier if the 76ers win it.
I will die from laughter if any of these 2 get doncic.

Bynum without those injuries is still a hell of a player.

Right, but Bynum was totally derailed by one injury because he's Bynum.

Any chance if we were to move on from Bledsoe, Sexton is a guy that might be a keeper? I've seen very little of him and his play looked pretty sloppy and like he forced things too much, but an interesting talent if we are looking at the PG position.

If we're looking at PG talent I like Elie Okobo a lot. Sexton could go anywhere because I didn't really like his skill level but he has a crazy motor and level of competitiveness I've hardly ever seen.

If we were to move on from Bledsoe I'd hope we'd trade for Ntilikina though.

Ntilikina may not even be a PG

I don't want to derail the thread but imo Ntilikina has shown plenty to suggest that he is indeed a PG.

Mikal Bridges is my guy. Plain and simple. Like Mitchell last season, he's the guy you trade up for.

Still think at 17 if we can get Melton or Porter, that's the play. Both guys are high floor / high ceiling. I hold them in high enough regard that expecting somebody better to slide is extremely unrealistic. I like some other guys, but they're a step down as prospects. Still abstaining on Robinson and Simons.

I like both players. I'd also be fine with Aaron Holiday or Lonnie Walker. Other than that, I'm luke warm to tepid on most other guys. I'd love Williams on this squad as he'd bring much much needed toughness and athleticism. Just don't see him falling.

I'd say after Melton and Porter, I'd go Jacob Evans, but he's a full step down as a prospect. There's no imaginable scenario where I'd take Walker or Holiday 17th, which isn't to say I think either of them are hopeless.

I think Bridges is overrated TBH. I feel like he's a 2 position defender (2, 3). He doesn't have enough core strength to defend 4's and doesn't have the quick twitch athleticism to defend PGs consistently. And while he is an elite shooter off the catch, I don't see him ever becoming a good shooter off the dribble since his handling is so lacking.
He's very good in man defense, but not elite. He's not a lockdown defender. He's an even better team defender and that is going to be his bread and butter but I have a hard time believing that he's going to be anything more than that.

All in all I see a high tier role player, which is fine late in the lottery. But I've seen some mocks rank him as high as #4, which I think is vastly overstated. Depending on Melton's improvement in his shooting ability, I don't really have a tier between those as prospects.

Bridges is a very rangy and aware team defender and that is the core of his value. He's unselfish on both ends but understands that shooting isn't a selfish act. His ceiling is wherever his ball handling ends up. I don't think he's close to where he's going to end up athletically either. Certainly respect that all these things could have been said about Corey Brewer.

I hear you. I’ve watched quite a bit of Holiday out here on the West Coast. To me, he’a a high floor player. At 17, given what the Bucks have been drafting lately, I’d be fine with it. Walker is my very poor man’s Mitchell so I’m trying to get over not fetching Mitchell.

What can you tell me about Evans? I have seen very little.

Bridges is so much smoother and fluid than Brewer. Brewer, going back to Florida, has always had an awkwardness to his game. He’s never been a fluid offensive player and he’s always been touted mainly for his man-to-man defense and that very occasional game he gets hot from deep.

Yeah I'm still riding the Mikal Bridges train until he's Jeremy Lamb.
