Gonna check out the new Avengers flick tonight after the game. Will be back with a review.
EDIT: Just got back. I really liked it. Well written. No obvious holes in the plot. Josh Brolin does a really good job as Thanos. To me, he has been the best villain in all of the Marvel movies.

Liked Killmonger better but otherwise completely agree. Difficult to crash this many characters together in one film and create a villain w 3-dimensionality as well but they pulled it off. The set pieces were some of the best they have filmed in any Marvel film. It's tough for a film to have as much hype as this one has and yet still live up to it.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

My biggest issue is that it was too short, they really stuffed a lot in and hour and a half. Could have allowed for some things to breathe a little more.
Cool, thanks both. I'll have to check it out somehow. The wife is fired up for Isle of Dogs, but maybe after that.
I haven't gotten stuck in my last 4 movies. Loved every one.
"A Quiet Place" was incredible. Haven't enjoyed a horror movie that much in years. Although, I thought of it more as a drama. Son't let that turn anyone off. It was super suspenseful and the silence was one of the biggest reasons for that suspense.
If you haven't checked out "Ready Player One", it was another winner. "Love, Simon" was great. My girl made me go and I was expecting something totally different. Walked away pleasantly surprised.
Lastly, "Blockers" is a great comedy if you're looking to laugh.
I finally got Isle of Dogs out of the way, and can't recommend it unless you just frickin' love Wes Anderson so much that you've already seen it... Some clever/funny/cute parts as always, but overall, just adequate entertainment. And, I really like Fantastic Mr Fox, Rushmore, Moonrise Kingdom among others. This just didn't do it for me.
Now, I'll see if I can get to some of the ones on your list - all ones I've thought about checking out.

For any of my djent brothers out there, the new Tesseract album dropped last week. One of my favourite bands from the last few years, very solid release (if you dig this sort of music).
At the moment "Juno" is probably one of my favourite tracks.

Tesseract is great. You should listen to Intervals if you haven't, pretty similar.

Yeah, I've got a couple of Intervals releases. I've got the instrumental version of "A Voice Within" and "The Shape of Colour".
Tesseract are touring the US and Canada at the moment I think.

Amazing video.
I wish I felt differently about Glover's actual music, as this song doesn't really work as well witout the visual component (and yes, I know the nature of the meter and lyrics of the song itself play into some of the points he's making here). That said, I'm happy that someone out there is doing **** like this.

Music has been part of my life since I was a little boy and my genre preferrence has always been rock, but one thing I've noticed from these past 5 ~ 8 years is that many rock bands has turned themselves into eletronic bands, some examples I can record right now is Coldplay and Evanescence (the most recent album from 2017 changed many of their past songs to eletronics). Is this becoming a tendency? What makes eletronic so attractive?

As someone who doesn't buy into hype, I think it is crazy good. Both the music and the video, and even the video for his SNL performance. Dude is just real, real talented.

I believe his upcoming album will be Childish Gambino's last.

A buddy of mine's band a few years ago. If you like Americana/folk music, you will dig this. The cover of Rocket Man is awesome.

Probably because how well it worked out for Radiohead.
FWIW, electronic > rock for me. I like rock, too, though. I think there's just more melodies in electronic music. So many directions you can go over standard instruments.
