If they had their full roster, i'd actually say they would be a chance against Golden State. What they need to do this offseason though is deal for a big.

Bro, the Celtics are chock full of very good NBA players, and the Sixers are basically the Cavs + a way, way worse version of Lebron + Joel Embiid.

Philly relies on the scoring of MARCO BELLINELLI AND JJ REDDICK. THEY ARE NOT THE REDEEM TEAM. Sorry for yelling but the overrating of Phillys roster and acting like Boston has a YMCA squad is ridiculous.

Add in the coaching and its not hard to see why things are going this way.

The only thing I didnt anticipate was Simmons choking this much. He's missing bunnies around the rim now....

Same here. I am blown away by the coaching and how hard this team competes every game. Everyone wrote them off after Kyrie went down and somehow they put away Giannis and about to sweep healthy young Sixers squad.

Stevens should win the COY. He's consistently improved their team's win total year after year despite injuries.

Brett Brown is about to get run out of town but this game was 100% on the players. Those end game turnovers were on BASIC passes.

Still an overall impressive game for Simmons. This loss is on the Sixers outside shooters failure to continually make open 3s.

Mitchell and Tatum are both awesome. Unless you are secretly Donovan Mitchell, stop bringing up Donovan Mitchell in every thread. It makes you look pathetic.

Duke players (and Kansas, Kentucky,etc..) are kind of hard to evaluate because they always have such a stacked class.

Tatum will get demoralised. Morris has good size but poor instincts. Brown is the guy, just not sure if he shows up.

“Tatum will get demoralized”
Why? Tatum could make him work on both sides of the court.

Too lithe. Do you expect him him to be good against the Cavs?

Sixers will be haunted by never completing the process with Jayson Tatum.

Damn this is impressive. Both Raptor fans and players are huge fans of Lebron. The playoff results are starting to make a lot more sense.

What can they do? Check Knicks fans on MJ if you ask them about him they're like his biggest fans besides Chicago

I don't understand this. Everyone laughed when Vegas suggested the Sixers might be a .500 team this season. Now they're supposed to go to the finals in year one.

Everyone also agrees that Brad Stevens is a great coach, and Celtics fans certainly think that Horford, Brown, Tatum and Rozier are very good to elite level talents.

They got outplayed in the second round. Cool.

Agree with this. 76ers goal probably was playoffs. The end of regular season when they mostly played against teams that wanted to lose gave little too high expectations. Add great series vs Miami and every one thought they would be finalist or at least ECF (me included). But they decided to do what young teams do and forget how to play winning basketball. Now they play like what people expected them to do at the beginning of the season. Only thing this game showed us is that Boston players have all ready been here. Only Tatum has no playoff experience. 76ers have 3 key players with no playoff experience and it showed. And with exception of Belinelli none their players have been succesfull in playoffs. This season will be a successful season for 76ers even you can say these games vs Boston have been abysmal showing from the team. Partly because of Boston defense and partly because they just messed thing up.

:dontknow: Ask Bill Russell and Adam Jones what it's like to play in Boston.

I'm not saying every fan base doesn't have their bad apples, it's just Philly's fans are consistently classless whenever my teams have had games with them in any sport. Obviously NFC Championship is fresh in memory, so I used that as an example. Meaning no disrespect to any decent Philly fan on these forums.

Hm- let's recap:

Boston fan makes unprovoked personal attacks (i.e. "cry yourself to sleep") and misquotes me in an attempt to paint my opinions as wrong. I reciprocate personal attack by pointing out what happened in the SB. You follow that up with a nonsensical statement about transvestites and the First Continental Congress? Good one.

The only source of embarrassment in this thread is the game-to-game reactivity by posters like yourself, as if 1 game would possibly erase Ben/the team's season long accomplishments. There's a reason we were favored both games in Boston but hey, sometimes the 5:1 horse beats the 3:1 horse. It is what it is. Celebrating like you won the series when you haven't won the series just isn't a good look. It's crazy that you and others don't seem to comprehend that.

People can read, you know. "I reciprocate by pointing out what happened in the SB" = I implied that the Eagles anally raped you.

It's too bad that you're unable to understand his retort.

The biggest embarrassment in this thread is you.

Yes, I said that. You jut quoted me saying I reciprocated the personal attack. What did you think that meant? CoP's retort was nonsensical in an attempt to paint my response as off-topic, but the conversation was already off topic so jokes on you.

THAT one was for the First Continental Congress, son!!!

Brett Brown is a idiot for not playing him at all. The longer the series goes on he will be destroyed by the media and kill Fultz confidence. Trying to protect him from a ego hit while Tatum is playing is the worst thing to do. Top it off they are losing game.
