I don't post here too often, but some people know me.
Okay, Celtics fan, congrats, you almost did it, one game from ECF. In my previous posts I was wrong. I predicted 76ers in 6.
I will say this: the only goal that every team has is winning a title, and I am 100% sure Sixers will win one earlier than the Celtics.
I would be pleased if Celtics fans use my words as a signature.
Neither the Celtics or Sixers were going to win one this yeat. You are on the verge of winning the battle of nothing.
Its sucks to lose, it does.
Listen, you have an amazing coach, you have nice players, depth, culture and GM, whatever. Argue about Tatum/Fultz and any other things as long as you can.
But. In this league talent wins TITLES. Boston Celtics have no player close to the talent that Embiid and Simmons have. No one. No, Tatum is not on the same on the talent level as Simmons. Use that a signature also. But please use also that I am talking about talent. Not current success, talent. In 3-4 years we will see. Not earlier.
Sixers have a lot of ways to improve over the course of next two summers.
I don't belive that Celtics will win titles in
2018 (injures)
2019 (GS/Hou still better)
2020 (Baynes/Rozier/Smart gone, no room for players)
Everybody keep talking about Ainge being a genius. Listen, he is a genius at what? In 15 years the celtics won 1 title. ONE.
That's one thing that matters. Okay, throw me a lot of Colangelo have not one. He will. Use that as signature also.
Coaching:
Brad Stevens outplayed Brown like a child. He did. But as I've told before:
Stevens was SWEPT in his first playoffs series.
Stevens lost 2-4 in his second playoff series.
Listen, its only matters to win titles.
Sixers will win one before does the Celtics.
Enjoy the ride, while you can Celtics can.
Sixers fan since 2001. From Russia.
