He is good. Top 5 good. But I also see a good GM who has built the deepest and most versatile roster.

Stevens is the one who has built the roster. His ability to make them look better than what they actually are has enabled Danny Ainge to ream other teams in trades.
I don’t understand what you mean. Ainge is the one who had the balls to trade away Garnett and Pierce at the end of the careers and started the whole rebuild.

Ainge got lucky, no one expected Brooklyn to end up being so bad. Stevens on the other hand has made average players look like stars. He is the one who made it possible to get Kyrie for Thomas, Crowder and a late top 10 pick, he was the one who was able to attract Horford and Hayward. Ainge deserves credit for having the balls to make big decisions but Stevens makes it easy for him by being so good at getting the best out of his players.

Do you consider Ainge a top 5 GM?

They are young, probably that will serve as a lesson learned for them.

Me too. They are incredible to watch. Brad Stevens is the real deal and Al Horford might be my new favorite player.

The thing about these no passing offenses (CLE and HOU) is that they almost never turn the ball over. LeBron has the ball 90% of the time and the only passes he makes lead directly to shots. There's just no chance for a turnover in that situation.
I think both team's are onto something. The beautiful game might lose to eye sore basketball this year.

Now Hood is down to .133 on threes through ten playoff games. He's made a grand total of two threes. He can't defend. His minutes are falling. If the playoffs were to end today, I think the market for Hood will be very weak this summer. Hood may have dropped all the way from being mentioned in the Gary Harris class at the beginning of the season to a mid level journeyman as this season closes. What do you think?
I don't expect his fortunes will rise if Cleveland keeps going. I don't see him getting much minutes or having success playing against Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart or Klay Thompson. And James Harden logged his career high points playing against Hood.

Half-serious question: if Rodney ends up being available for cheap, should the Jazz actually consider bringing him back?
