Is Dan Gilbert going to buy the Pistons after the playoffs?

Tom Gores doesn't seem to care one bit about the situation facing our team, terrible coach, terrible GM/drafting/trading.

Everyone is looking desperately for new coaches and we havent even heard a WORD about what's going down in Detroit

Back in Cleveland, even if the Cavs win the championship, LeBron is gone, leaving Gilbert with a ton of money on the books and a fake superstar in Kevin Love

Gilbert has tons of $ invested in Downtown Detroit and the Pistons are smack dab in the center of all of those investments

Gores sells the team cementing probably the worst 10 years in Detroit Pistons history (2008-2018)
- Davidson dies
- Dumars destroys the team with laughable signings and trades making them unwatchable
- Gores buys the team and literally padlocks the doors on the Palace for good
- SVG misses on Booker and Mitchell (arguably as bad as missing out on Darko)
- SVG trades our first round pick in one of the deepest drafts in recent memory
- SVG, in that same trade, takes on Blake Griffin who we will be paying 32M, 34M, 37M, 39M for the next four years
- Dan Gilbert, the man who drove LeBron out of the city where he was born and possibly the worst owner in the NBA, buys the Pistons

I wish Dan Gilbert buys the Pistons. What that man has done for Detroit is incredible. God bless him

I'd go to games just so he can take my money and not because of the team. You have no respect. Dan Gilbert is the greatest thing Detroit has right now. Dumars gave us 3 championships. SVG got us a MASSIVE amount of talent when he got nothing to work with when starting. You're just a spoiled fan. Maybe you should change your team it'll do you better for your mental health. Give up. Follow the 76ers. As if it makes a difference whether we're good or not the next 5 years with Sir Lebron destroying the league. We could make or miss the Playoffs next 5 years and it won't matter. I get it we suck. But to deny how much talent this team has now? Shame on you and I know you remember exactly what Josh Smith and Greg Monroe starting lineup looks like. It's the salary book that sucks but that's Detroit, nobody wants to come here.
