Wall is from the East though and Paul is from the West. George and Cousins were both from the West. Not that should matter anymore with the new format but it might.

The East vs West format is the old all star format, The new format with the captains Lebron and Curry that won't have any effect on Paul George and Chris Paul getting in. Nba commissioner Adam Silver clearly said that Paul George got Demarcus Cousins spot in the all star game because Paul George had the most votes from the all star snubs. So if Chris Paul has the most votes above the other snubs than Chris Paul will get his spot on Team Lebron.

They still chose 7 reserves from the east and 7 from the west though. SBnation thinks it's either Ben Simmons or Kemba Walker to replace Wall.

I think the guy with the most votes as all star snub should get in. If they are going to eliminate the east vs west all star team and have 2 captains pick the teams, than the player with the most votes gets in the all star game. Stop this East vs West when Lebron and Curry have been declared the 2 captains and picked their teams. Or since Lebron is the team captain, He gets to choose who he wants to pick up.

They chose Andre Drummond to replace Wall.

Kevin Love now out and will miss ASG. He's from the East though so I still don't expect Silver to name CP3 as a replacement. I honestly don't think CP3 would be willing to play as a replacement All Star anyway.

With kawhi likely to miss rest of season, maybe rox should drop to 2nd seed to play spurs in 2nd round ?

You actually think we can keep the #1 seed? GSW remaining schedule is pretty easy

Well, no Curry, Thompson and now Durant
I don't know if this is good or bad for Rockets
they will be well rested for playoff
hopefully they lost few games and MDA can rest our starters in the last few games

I imagine negotiations for Harden's last couple extensions have been like this:

DM: "OK, how about we do this?"

Agent: "HOLY CRAP! We can do that? WOW!!!"

Wtf?

I woke up this morning to find out that the rockets have secretly been playing iso ball all year, and only managed to beat the warriors because they made adjustments and changed who they were.

What the hell could POSSIBLY be the purpose of lying so blatantly? That’s not even VAGUELY near being true.

They don't even have to dribble to run an iso play.

I am enjoying the reaction from "experts" trying to explain last night's game.

Even my old pappy doesn’t like watching the Rockets because it’s just a bunch of Harden isos. The hell!!?

So I asks him, I sez, “and what was it when the rockets did nothing but throw the basketball down to Hakeem and wait for him to make something happen, then, before shooting 3’s [at a 30% clip] or taking an iso or running a cutter to the rim?”

“I DON’T LIKE HARDEN’S ISOS.”

Wtf.
