Cavs might win the playoff series and get the 1st pick......hope the Bulls jump into the top 3. The Suns, Magic, Kings have had their share of top picks.

Don't draft Trae Young.

MPJ over Bamba

You can find athletic bigs or throw a ton of money at Capela...see if Houston matches

The problem with this logic is that it labels a truly athletic freak of nature like Bamba as just being one member of an ordinary grouping. He's not that. He's legitimately unique.

Imo Bamba is just one of these draftees with an extrodinary physical physique.

I’d include, Ayton, JJJ, and this may not be a popular opinion right now but MPJ as a 6’10 sf with above average to good athleticism.

Bagley is tall and fast which is impressive but missing an overly impressive physical attribute other than height.

Not sure if i missed anyone in the 6-7 range

If we stay at #6 and end up with Trae or Bamba I'll be really happy. If JJJ drops and we get him I'll be very happy as well.

I haven't seen MPJ play enough (only saw him in college) to have an educated opinion on him so I'm not listing him either way. Unlike most posters, I only talk about players I've seen play several times.

It also assumes that Porter is absolutely a unique talent himself.

If he's not, then you can find players like him easily. That's actually the case for the underachievement of any player if we stay at 6.

i just wonder if drafting a Superstar big will take touches away from lauri.

Like the bulls have a guy they like on that level.
Now to address getting a guy you love upon the perimeter because while DMC and Davis coexisted, AD really broke out after DMC went down.

EDit: Garpax give me this vibe of loving PFs in the draft.

I mean can you imagine having Porzingis (if not Dirk) + Gobert on the same lineup locked into rookie deals? In fact, the more I see Bamba, this guy's floor seems to be Gobert/Capella which is absolutely frightening and you can make an argument he is a better prospect than Ayton. The Bulls frontcourt will be set for a decade and can attract premier wing players or trade someone like Oladipo's caliber for cheap. Guys like Butler, Irving seems to be worth only a lottery pick so can acquire them later if necessary.
Doncic will be goat. Lauri will be his sidekick.

I'm warming up to Zhaire Smith, he is an awesome talent and I can see him being a major contributor in the big league. He turns 19 in a few weeks so he is very young. I think I would pick him before Mikal tbh.
He has all the intangibles to be an allstar in a few years.
Just wait for him to shoot up the boards the upcoming weeks

I am really high on him as the starting SG but not at 6. Somehow need to acquire a lottery pick. He has the highest chance to be the next Mitchell under the radar type imo. FO should go all-in using #22+ Portis and any combination of Valentine, Grant, etc and try to consolidate assets.

There’s a small small chance we fall to 9. Would you take him there?

I am not super high on smith. Idk what else he brings to the table outside of athleticism. Which is nice but it doesn’t go too far
