Casey really better not win coach of the year. It would be beyond bad looking.

Raptors IMO quit. They don't want this to go back to Toronto and to feel embarrassed in front of the home crowd again. There is no fight left, they have to make changes.

It's funny but I am not feeling any resistance from Toronto this game, they can't wait for this to be over which is pretty pathetic.

At least that is over. Raptors/Cavs was like a fart in the wind.

Re: Around the NBA 2018-2019 (Non-Celtics Talk)
Funny thing is most Celtics fans recognized last years Celtics team was complete frauds as contenders. The promise was in the picks and cap room.
I actually feel sorry for Raptor fans that have a clue about basketball. They could replay this series a million times and if Lebron didn't get injured or sick, not sure if the Cavs would even lose the series once.
Lebron was bored in the first half and playing at a pace I would play against 8 year old kids. Cavs still win by 35.

Picture of Toronto NBA fans going to the NBA finals:

Picture of how Toronto would look if the CN tower was built the same way as the Raptors roster was built:

At least they have their NHL team to cheer for?

Picture of the Raptors NBA-quality coach:

What US$100,000,000 buys you every year in Toronto:

In Canadian dollars, approximately $654,356,865,443,862,998,887,567.

It is written that Boston defeats LeBron, makes him quit on his team, makes him leave Cleveland in shame. Again.

How embarrassing will it be for the NBA media if Dwane Casey gets COTY over Brad? Especially after he's fired this offseason

In some respects, Casey deserves coach of the century, coach of all time for winning 59 games this year with the Raptors. Kind of shows the difference between regular season and post season.

I think the Raps should blow it up now. You just can't run this core back again. Not again.
Fire Casey, see what you can get for DeRozan (Gallo+13th pick maybe? Clips want a star), trade Lowry/Ibaka. Just nuke the roster.

The Raptors were winning, everything was clicking, they were headed to the championship.
Then, at the trade deadline, they threw it all away.
Bruno could have contained LeBron.
Oh, well, at least the Raptors can look forward to the draft and their first round pick.
They don't have one?
Oh, well, at least the Raptors can look forward to the draft and their second round pick.
That's gone too?

Worst #1 seed ever, anyone?
Edit: Just visited the Raptors board. They are in pretty bad shape, I felt genuinely sorry for them.

Re: Around the NBA 2018-2019 (Non-Celtics Talk)
I'm tired of hearing LeBron is the greatest ever. I'm sorry he's top 5, but he's definitely not GOAT at all. Who has he beaten? The best team he's beaten is the Warriors once. Who has he beaten in the East? I mean on paper Raptors are the best team for the past 3-4 years sans LeBron's squads. I don't even know how it's debatable that he's better than Jordan. This is absurd. This year- Indiana with Dipo, Raptors obviously choked or something and next he's playing us or the Sixers? The West is slaughterhouse and with us being injured the East lacks star power outside of LeBron.
Jordan beat the bad boy Pistons, Celtics, Magic's LAL, Clyde Drexler and Portalnd, Phoenix- Barkley was the MVP, Shaq-Penny, Karl Malone and John Stockton.

Good assessment:

Agree based on the argument that Lebron won't have this much success if he was on the West whereas Jordan it don't matter if it's the East or the West, he will be the Alpha, not the Diva and every player in the NBA will respect that and his Bulls will pulverize anyone that gets in their way, old school.

Not only that he's won 3 Finals out of 8 and he's had epic chokes along the way.

He is absolutely dominating this year though. I get how the Raptors are chocking in theory but he is in fact obliterating their defense, their offense and bottom-line their souls. I never expected him to have such an impact. I'm not saying he is the GOAT. for me MJ is on a different level. I also hate everything about him and how he shoots, dribbles, posts up or whatever. He is more of a beast rather than a bb player and being 1.80 and not fast myself i was always on a mission to ruin faster and more athletic guards in my life (also a reason i hate westbrook)

Raps become the first top seed in 49 years to get swept before the conference finals.
