I get Toronto is up North, North above anywhere else but it gets kinda annoying about hearing "We the North"

It's a slogan ffs, relax.

Embarrassing yea but you don’t blow up a team that’s one of the youngest in the league and had the second best record. They ran into lebron..

a Lebron team that barely got past freaking Indiana. This isn't that good of a team lets be honest, you are being swept by a team that honestly is reasonably mediocre.

Lets see how they do in the next round or 2 before you call the mediocre because in the first round Indiana played against lebron. Toronto played against the Cav's. Its like the rest of their team woke up against us and don't claim defense because they were top 5 in the league.

At least Canada has universal health care. Raptors will heal fine.

The defense was putrid, biting on every single pumpfake and losing their man off the ball.

We gonna ignore the fact he was averaging 19/8/4 on 70% TS with good defense going into that game?

Lowry is the LAST player on the Raptors to blame, except maybe JV

Still, you think he is worth over 30M a year? This guy is nowhere near a superstar. I personally don't think he's a top 20 player.

Lebron just seems to be on another level right now

It's like that Pacers series woke up another beast. If he makes it to the finals and beats the Warriors. I'll have a hard time saying he's not the GOAT

IT was injured, that Celtics team wasn’t that talented, the Cavs were much better last year. The Cavs were simply more talented. This raptors team won 59 games Cavs went to 7 against the pacers. This is the biggest joke I’ve seen.
As you say, the Celtics werent that talented. This Raptors team is much better than that Celtics team.

The Cavs held a double digit lead in all 5 games, and won the 4 games by 13, 13, 33 and 34. The game 4 youre talking about, the Cavs outscored the Celtics by 23 in tge 2nd half.

And tge 33 and 34 point wins came in Boston. So even if this Cavs team is worse, the Raptors being more talented than last years Celtics tells me that the Cavs are getting better here in the playoffs.

I know Celtics and Raptors fans hate each other, but based on this series it wouldnt surprise me if the Cavs beat the Celtics worse than they beat the Raps in this series. Going to 7 against the Pacers doesnt mean much....the Cavs had quarters in last years playoff against the Celtics in which they beat them worse than the 4 combined games against the Pacers, despite the fact that we swept them last year.

Um no, you won against the soft raptors team. Next series will be different I’ll be sure to bring this quote up. The Cavs had Kyrie last year the same guy who won you game 4 pretty much when Lebron was in foul trouble. Isaiah Thomas was injured for the Celtics last season yet they still at least took a game from the Cavs unlike these raptors both this year and last. Cavs aren’t as good as last season so it’s irrelevant.

Feel free to bring the quote up. I'm not saying what will or will not happen. Just saying I wouldn't be trashing Toronto until I saw how the next series was going to go.

Not denying that. But one has become a brand and sells surprisingly well, and one is replaced by some other slogan next year..

Of course its selling well. It would legitimately be badass and clever, IMO, if it wasn't blatantly stolen from a TV show and about a team that was just swept as a one seed.
Agreed, more or less. I haven't seen "the north remembers" pushed so much aside from a couple commentators but maybe I missed that. At least we the north isn't a direct quote..?

Congratulations, Cavs fans. Remember to be gracious and humble-- remember that none of y'all played a minute in tonight's game; comport yourselves accordingly and enjoy the win.

Raps fans, I know most of y'all are inconsolable right now and you're entitled to that. All I'll say is that someday, you guys will probably be hanging some banners, and whether you believe me now or not, you'll look back on this time as just part of the process of becoming champions. Be down, but don't STAY down; this, too, shall pass.

Stop w the excuses...your coach is clueless and made Love, JR and Korver look like 1st team all NBA players....he takes away from their only big mismatch in JV and starts FVV and CJ Miles in b2b games...good move Casey smh

Lowry produces regular season wins at a top 10-15 level, advanced stats have proven this for years. He had his bad playoff reputation, but had a phenomenal individual playoff run until tonight.

Is he worth 30 million a year? He's making about the same as guys like Mike Conley, Paul Millsap, Blake Griffin, Gordon Hayward.

Lowry is undeniably better than all of those other guys, we'll see about Hayward when healthy though.

Lowry making 30 million would not look as bad if DeRozan/Ibaka didn't combine for 47 million. If that money was used for players who are better, we wouldn't have gotten swept.

People need to ease off the Raptors. Their crazy fans, as opposed to their good fans, go all in. But my Cavs team had a great team before Jordan put them out every year.
