Would love to have him back, his issue was a clash with Randy Wittman, not lack of ability. He would fit perfectly as a scoring 2 guard on the bench unit.

Although, he got cut from this team for punching a teammate in the face.

Yeah... ZERO interest.
Cut for punching a teammate in the face
terrible shooter (31% from 3 in Israel for Christ sake)
Averages as many turnovers as assist
slow feet
undersized

GRJR has the game and athleticism of a dominant 6'9" SF/PF -- but he's trapped in a 6'5" body.

There have been plenty of players whose game didn't match their size, and who didn't have the athleticism/skill to overcome their lack of size. Give GRJR 3-4 more inches of height, he'd have stuck around in the league as a poor man's Melo. Give Lou Roe 3-4 more inches of height, and he'd have probably made an all-star game or two.

The maturity level wasn't there in both college and in the NBA. He'd have to play at a phenominal level to make it in the NBA now.

Eh, he could turn into a saint and a Boys Club mentor overnight; he'd still not be good enough to play NBA minutes. He's perfect where he is.

A couple more things to add after he was cut by the Zards:

10/25/15 - shot in the leg and later charged with reckless conduct and possession of 240.4 grams (0.53 lb) marijuana.

7/28/16 - arrested for battery and felony robbery.

Don't remember how long ago this was, but I was watching some housewives show (Atlanta maybe?) with my fiance and Rice Jr. made a cameo on that episode. Long story short, he got in a fight with one of the housewives and had the police called on him. I would say that was the point where his NBA career was pretty much over.
