Re: Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center (NEW ARENA) Thread
When I think of the BC, I won't think of the actual experience of sitting in the arena. I'll think of the things I saw.
Like the time I went to a Pacers-Bucks game in the late 90s when Mark Jackson hit a go ahead shot with a few seconds left, Big Dog followed up by traveling (obviously), and a fan sitting next to me threw a beer at Reggie Miller in response. I remember Mark Jackson and Reggie Miller pointing out the fan, and panicked because I thought they were pointing at a twelve-year-old me.
Or the time I went with my uncle, whose company had a suite at the BC, and realized I was the only person in the suite actually watching the game. The free food was dope.
Or the time I sat in the family section and watched Monta Ellis's kids play on an iPad in front of me, and proceed to share my popcorn. Those kids were cute as hell.
Or the time I watched us beat the 24-0 Warriors sitting next to a pair of GSW fans who spent the bulk of the first half trash talking the Bucks before slinking out of the stadium in the 4th when it was clear the game was over.

This is the western "service" side of the building - given the least aesthetic attention & the subject of much derision.
There's a secondary entrance at extreme left (NW corner of arena), indoor player parking, emergency generators & HVAC coolling towers to its right, and six enclosed loading docks furthest right. I see no direct evidence of a helicopter pad, however.
Maybe it will be draped in graphics at some point.

Re: Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center (NEW ARENA) Thread
So is there one main entrance and that's it? Or is it similar to the BC and there is an entrance at each corner? I'm guessing one and that's fine.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

There is the main entrance on the East and another one on the Northwest side.

The main entrance is seen on the Arena View, the secondary entrance is seen on the Panorama View on the street level to the West of the skywalk.

Says late April for the decision on how to sell stuff. I would think in the next month they will be auctioning off chairs and stuff from the stadium, right?
I can't imagine them auctioning stuff off before things are actually dismantled.
I'm not sure about auctioning, but they are having habitat for humanity come through as well as MPS for anything they may want. I'm pretty sure those folks get first crack. Of course they're very unlikely to take anything that would be auctioned off.

I'll buy the naming rights and call it the Rebuilding Arena.

At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.
Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”
