It’s an interesting series. The Cavs have one actual impact player on their roster. He also happens to be the toughest to plan for and probably the best in the world. Sure they have role players like Love Thompson and Korver. But those guys will have off nights in the playoffs. I’ll say this. If LeBron doesn’t play 40 minutes a night in this series then LeBron and crew is in trouble.

I like the Cavs in 6 but it wouldn’t shock the hell out of me if Boston pushed it to 7 or won

Cavs in 5....people are crazy if they think LeBron is losing to Jaylen Brown & Jason Tatum right now.

It may be crazy to think he loses to Brown and Tatum but not so crazy to think he loses to Stevens.

No doubt the Celtics will be looking to bust this narrative about how he's King James so he's automatically going to the Finals. Been hearing it all season by everyone. You can be sure our young guys like Smart, Tatum, Brown, and Rozier will be looking to prove otherwise. Jaylen isn't even 100% and dropped 24 last night in only 31 minutes, when he clearly wasn't up to his normal speeds. Getting 3 days rest from now to Game 1 will be big, as we need Tatum and Brown to score 20+ every night.

These kids along with the real coach of the year have something to prove. We lose and it's expected. We win and we shock the world. Damn, I wish I was playing because this is the ultimate basketball series for anyone to be a part of. We've been told all year we had no shot, after Hayward goes down, then again after Kyrie. There's no doubt every Celtic has that playing in their minds and wants to prove the world wrong. This is the ultimate challenge for them. I can't wait to see how they perform.

I think Stevens does try to slow down Lebron. We did that in Milwaukee with trying to limit Giannis (worked in a few of the wins) let Middleton almost destroy us, and got the series win in the end. I think they will throw Semi, Morris, and Brown at Lebron and if there's one thing I noticed about Brad, he likes to play defense a certain way for most of the game, and then suddenly switch gears in the 4th to give the other team a new defensive look. It will be Brad pulling everything out of his bag of tricks for this one, because even though he's a humble, even keeled guy, you know deep down he's fully embracing this challenge and would like nothing more than to reach the Finals with this Butler like team.

Everyone talks about DDR and Lowry folding against Lebron in the playoffs. How about Horford? He's been killing it this season but then crawls under the table when he sees Lebron.

This is a valid point. However guys like Korver/JR arent going to get as many open looks against this Celtic team liked they did against Derozan. Too many elite perimeter defenders they can throw at them Smart, Tatum, Brown, Olejay is a diff animal than CJ Miles

Ya i don't think this Celtics team can win a game 7 against Lebron and the Cavs. In fact, I think winning any close game will be a really tough challenge. They won't get anywhere near as many breaks in late game situations as they did against the young sixers. Boston's D is incredible and their late-game execution was phenomenal, but a lot of those close-contested celtics wins were the result of philly throwing the game away.
