I don't think the Cavs lose to Toronto. That sets up Philly and Cleveland in the ECF, which hopefully kills any chance of Lebron going there as a free agent and seeing him go West.

We’ll beat Philly in round 2.

I wouldn't bet on it. Lol

Bump.

Assuming you’ll post that we’ll beat the Cavs and Warriors and win back to back titles.. just in case it happens you can bump replies.

I have us beating the Cavs. And if the Rockets somehow beat the Warriors, Ill take the Eastern Conference team over them. Warriors would smoke Boston or Cleveland.

Obviously thinking way too far ahead but I think Cleveland and Boston both have a chance against Houston. May not win but I think Marcus Smart in particular can get in Harden’s head a bit.

But then you remember the Warriors aren’t just a team in 2K.

Lebron has more than a chance against Rockets if a certain Canadian keeps doing his thing. But GSW are out of this world if they bring their a game. Even Klay the ugly Thompson is very good. It'll be GSW all the way most probably. Things will be different 1 year from now!

$50m! Gotdamn... I guess that is one benefit of drafting most/all of your stars - they might give you a discount. Getting a guy in FA or trade shortly before his FA? Good luck. I guess KD did it.

They are going to have to pay Durant next year unless of course he takes another pay cut.

Warriors payroll is going to be insane.
Curry 37m
Durant ( I assume he will make at least 30M)
Klay 19m
Green 17m
Iguodala 16m

119m in 5 guys and nothing can be done to stop them as they will just keep paying the tax. Warriors are not going away for the next 5 years unfortunately.

With Casey being fired I wonder if Toronto does a reboot?
Who says no? DeRozan for Fultz + Saric + LAL pick.

Not enough basketballs or shooting for Philly in that trade.

Reasonable chance that firing Casey is the "reboot" for the upcoming season - they have a pretty nice roster, maybe a different coach can get something more out of it. Brad could.

Beta boy will definitely take a discount next year to help keep the band together.

It usually happens within 5 years after winning the award. Haven't seen it happen during the same season. See, and this is why I didn't want Brad winning the award. It is a jinx. Plain and simple.

Dammit. That’s not good. Toronto just actually improved!

My money’s on Budenholzer to Toronto and Casey to Milwaukee.

Happened to George Karl in 2013. Fired 29 days after getting the COTY award.
