How much cap space do you guys have this offseason? Enough for 2 max FA's? Is 3 feasible? - maybe by trading Deng or someone?

Pelicans might(probably?) decline his option since they have to pay Boogie

who do you guys want to draft with our pick?

Would it worth trading to Sacramento for a one year flier on WCS and the 36th pick, where we would target Metu, Duval or Graham?

I want to draft a salary dump with the pick. Aka, bye bye Deng.

yeah I don’t think they 25th pick carries enough value to get rid of Deng, but I agree that’s the number 1 option.

Thoughts on my idea?

I would send the pick to Sac for WCS all day long... Kid is long, active and a rim protector sill on his rookie scale contract... If Pelicans sign Boogie over Mirotic, they will regress... They played bette when Davis had the entire middle to operate...

Lakeshow baby...

Yes, two max spots for sure plus more. If we somehow trade the Deng contract and renounce Randle, we would have about $80-85M in space. The only money we'd have on the books is:

Lonzo: 7.5M
Ingram: 5.8M
Hart: 1.7M
Kuzma: 1.7M
Zubac: 1.6M (team option, not guaranteed)
Bryant: 1.4M (team option, not guaranteed)

If we trade Deng, we'd be able to keep Randle and still sign two max free agents.

Random thought - but be it that the players that are available this summer are wings: LeBron, PG, Leonard(maybe) --would that make the Lakers more inclined to move Ingram over Randle? Basically trying to see what it would take for the Bulls to package while eating Deng's contract in return.

. You have to remember that a trade for Leonard would most certainly include Ingram going to the Spurs.

Right, so how about not trading Ingram and just signing Leonard outright next summer. Problem solved.

There's a better chance Magic trades Lonzo or Kuzma or both before he trades Ingram, they absolutely love him.

Where would Ingram fit in a hypothetical lineup that includes Leonard, George, and Lebron?

Well Ingram not being traded means there is no Kawhi.

Those three with Ingram still here means we traded Lonzo and Kuzma for Kawhi.

In that case, you play a positionless lineup that also somehow includes Randall.

Ingram showed he can play an effective point guard role. Lebron would handle the ball most of the time. They can all play D. Not a problem.

I'm A businessman. I'm a Business guy.

I'm going to keep it 100 with yall. and always keep it 100 with yall on here.

Who do you think Left Kawaii those Dodgers tickets?

Then How come The Pacers Spurs all of a sudden their superstar players don't want to play there and want out????? it's a very simple reason.

The Lakers have guys who are getting to them. When you hire an Agent you get all the guys who can talk and negotiate for you. they know all the ways to get around everything.

Magic is a Star in this town. if you grew up in L.A. Kawaii Leonard Paul George you know what he represents and you want to be a part of that.

I still don't think and have said Kawaii is coming here cause San Antonio will offer 220 Million and he will gladly sign. But the Lakers are doing everything to get in there and get at him. if there's a guy who would like more of the L.A. spotlight it's Kawaii. I've met him when he came in for Workouts. great guy. didn't say much. just Hello Yes Sir. the kind of guy you would give your franchise to.

Don't listen to the Media crap about he's another Tim Duncan. he's not the Cornrows more of a player who identifies with Kendrick Lamar. Popovich is a guy who all the guys support him speaking out and supporting them on social issues. but Kawaii might not be the guy that likes all the Drill Sargent yelling. He's a guy on the court that just plays. But probably off the court is saying everything he wants with the team.

Locker room tension is about players. the Tony Parker Ginobili thing was the players speaking out on him. I had a player on another team star player tell me one of his teammates in the starting lineup didn't practice and he was always like dude don't practice. so a team might look like they play great together but there is stuff going on that the team talks about.

Kawaii probably looks at the Memphis series last season in the playoffs and says I carried that team and they say that about me.
also the situation with Isiah Thomas really changed player perspective about coming back too early. his hip injury cost him millions cause he played for the Celtics so them challenging Kawaii really irked him.

The thing around the NBA now is L.A.is a destination. But there are spots that players already occupy. Paul George is coming so Kawaii would look at the Lakers but Ingram aint going anywhere. so the real scenario is if Magic sees Ingram more of hiself a big point guard that he can develop and Lonzo is the odd guy out if they want to go in on Kawaii.

Like I said Klay doesn't want to come here to L.A. he'll stay being a Warrior. he's always been a nerd and has always been interested in just being in Oakland. he likes it there. he's never been a Hollywood guy. OC guy who really likes just chilling out there. so that was just stupid talk. rumors.

Magic has done a great job of cleaning this Laker NBA image up. Jerry West was amazing. Magic was brought in to put that Gold Standard back on the brand. Now The team just has to get all the players in. Lebron is a big if. But he wants L.A. for other reasons. The Cleveland thing isn't a basketball thing. it's very political and has a lot to do with Dan Gilbert. L.A. is very supportive of what he wants to do. I'm hoping Julius can come back cause I want to see the Big Blonde. but it's going to get tricky with Lebron and Paul George. right now it's The Lakers and Houston for Lebron and Portland. Lebron has really enjoyed this run on Cleveland with the nobody's so this has really helped the Lakers pitch cause more than anything he just wants to be The Guy. so the pitch is centered around Lebron's ego which really makes them players.

it's going to be an interesting Free agent period. only thing I know for sure is Paul George is signing. there won't be a Kawaii Leonard trade. Lakers won't trade Ingram they'll just sign Kawaii. This can really get interesting if OKC shops Russell Westbrook to the Lakers a superstar under control. any trade would have to be centered around a Lonzo Ball Kyle Kuzma type of trade and Ingram they lakers won't budge with Ingram. but if Lebron is signed I can see him demanding Magic trade for Westbrook and get his superstar. with the team being Lebron Westbrook and Paul George.

If the opportunity for Kawhi Leonard is there and all it takes is Ingram and a future pick, we have to do it.

Why do that when we could sign him next summer? Besides, it would take more than Ingram to make salaries match.

The Bron Bron is a dumb dumb Westbrook's style of play doesn't help us. Also the Spurs want Ingram in any deal or else they'll tell us to go F ourselves.
