The guy has an even worse defensive scheme than Casey and those Hawks had better defenders.

He has connection to Leonard. We might able to trade for him and stay

Kawhi hates the Spurs lol there's no connection

He hates this spurs. Bud left in 2013 after the finals he broke out

What I like about Bud is that he knows how to run an actual offense. Look at the ball movement he preaches, incredible.

It may happen before we even hired a new coach! It amazes me how much respect he has in the US...not to mention his peers that voted him COY

Kawhi doesn't make decisions, his uncle calls the shots. He wasn't around the team in 2013.

I'm bookmarking all these Bud threads in the event that we get him, and then people saying "Lol he got swept twice too" suddenly change their opinion next season when we look good under Bud's coaching.

I think his age is where teams would excersize caution, he's like the 2nd oldest.

I think teams would be more inclined to build with younger coaches like Spo, Stevens, and Luke Walton

Bud is the white Dwane Casey. This isn't happening.

This is a poor for unless we trade JV. The Hawks were based around ball movement and JV's passing is subpar.

Let's be real if guys like Woj are saying Mike is the frontrunner. it's most likely going to happen.

Exactly this.

They're both good coaches, no question about it. But they're literally the same resume, what was the point of firing Casey?

Woj didn't say that.

this is one of those changes you make for the sake of making a change. you cant trade lowry derozan or ibakrap with those contracts so coaching is the only way to go.

This is not a Smitch situation. I predict Casey ends up with another job very shortly. If not next season, then the season after that.
