- Milsap and Horford are high IQ bigs that made their offensive system really work but they weren't scorers. That team was greater than the sum of their parts. Furthermore, their bench was piss poor and didn't have the defensive versatility that we do.

- Korver broke his ankle or severely sprained it (can't remember the specifics) and Demarre had a leg injury that basically ended his season but he was stubborn and came back to play. He never looked the same. Cavs don't sweep them if that team is healthy.

Virtually the entire roster came back the next year (substitute Bazemore for Carroll), they underachieved by 12 games and got swept by the Cavs AGAIN in the second round.

How is Bud getting kudos on this board for essentially pulling a Casey?

The Cavs have swept everyone except this years Pacers and our ECF run. Its kind of amazing that team actually made the ECF to begin with. The reason its a big deal for us getting swept is because until about 2 weeks ago, the mood around here was we have a legitimate shot of beating the Cavs, then got swept.

And that changed fast, so the Raps basically have foot in mouth right now. We may need Buds 5 man system more than anything. Who knows if we'll ever beat Lebron, but we can atleast out last him.

yay

I have a really big feeling he will be hired as the coach.

also, watching his offensive schemes..i really enjoy how much he uses aspects of the triangle..in our case..would be using JV in the block to set up our offense

my concern is him getting max usage out of derozan..but **** this guy was with the spurs for 4 titles. Im sure he could find a use for that idiot

I'd assume he'd find a way to get DeRozan the ball more often on the catch coming off a screen opposed to just getting the ball and either going ISO or waiting for JV to come up for a high screen PnR

For some reason Casey never thought of that

no kidding..derozan already has a bad first step..getting him the ball 40 ft out to initiate is why he struggled in the postseason. so easy to predict and lockdown

Has any of you stop to ask how Lowry is going to get a long with the new coach ? Casey basically let lowry do what he wanted, who's to say the next coach does the same ? It's was casey allowing lowry to do whatever he wanted to do that helped his reputation.

He is the best coach available that is a known name with proven success. Certainly won’t be a bad choice but may not be the best choice to bring this team to the next level, unless you wanna take a chance on an unknown. There may be a Stevens out there but it would be risky trying to find that diamond in the rough with the playoff window we have.

It may be a problem, or not at all. Kyle clashes with every coach and consequently I think he's a bit of a malcontent.
Worst case, trade Kyle after you trade DeMar. As you can tell I'm not attached to our "core" at all.

Smoke screen. Masai has minimal interest in Bud.
Everybody is losing their freaking minds. Nutbars and wingnuts have infested this forum. We've become a public lavatory without cleaning staff.
