I think I counted 5 blocks where he caught the ball. Most looked to be direct challenges and very few weakside wipeaways. Yeah, that was super fun to watch.

Maybe someone mentioned this, but which coaches are running the Bucks pre-draft workouts? Are Prunty's assistants running them?

This is a really good question, and shows how important locking down a candidate quickly can be

Khri Thomas looks like a blend of Tony Allen and Avery Bradley.

Right now I'm leaning towards Zhaire Smith if he's there @17. He definitely needs to improve on his shot (especially off the dribble), but if he had that already he'd be a top 10 pick.

So many things to like about him tho.

Devonte Graham's the next 10 year NBA backup PG out of Kansas. Seems like there's one every other year.

Ron Swanson wrote:Not saying he's gonna be another Prince Ibeh (well....he could be), but the way he completely sells out while contesting those shots leads me to believe that he's gonna foul out in the 1st quarter every game and/or seriously hurt someone. He's already 21 so you have to wonder if it's an instinct thing and he's just naturally a spazzy/undisciplined defender.

Fouls per 40
Ibeh
7.5
8.6
7.6
7.3

Konate
7.6
4.6

My guy Ibeh never seemed to figure it out, and at least there is some evidence maybe Konate is beginning to. But I don't think it matters much, I don't think you get a guy like Konate and try to play him 35 mpg. Have him play 18 mpg but balls to the wall.

Yeah I think he's fine regarding fouls. His main issue is that he's 6'8 compared to Ibeh's 6'10. I doubt he's going to play center much (at first) so he's a rim protecting PF that can't shoot the 3 yet and who can somewhat keep up with guards. Some version of Siakam, Bell, etc.. That does have value.
His real upside comes if he's able to hit the 3. Because then he's the perfect 4 and you can play him at the 5 in small ball lineups

Yep. Terrific all-around player, perfect for the modern NBA. And the Bucks need quicker perimeter players.

I like Mikal Bridges as well. I'd trade just about everyone except Giannis and Khris to get those two somehow. Jabari, Brogdon, Bledsoe, and #17 might be enough to get 2 top-11 picks. The Cavs, Knicks, and Hornets have a long history of win-now moves.

I'm not super high on him, but he's been very productive in college and those players nearly always translate.

Having seen nothing of Konate, is he a better prospect than the recently cut undersized rim protector Jordan Mickey? I see his FT percentage has trended up nicely which is a good sign.

Mickey had hints of an offensive all around game that Konate didn't have, but the flip side of that is that Konate stays in his lane. The fact that Konate is pretty new to the game and yet is already a decent mid range shooter in addition to his dominance at the rim in the NCAA makes him pretty attractive to me. He doesn't need to add anything to be useful. He just has to get better, and at his age and experience level, he should be able to.

Alize Johnson is probably pound for pound the best rebounder in the draft, but he's 6'9 and thin with a game on offense similar to Nigel Hayes. As far as centers Brandon McCoy fits your description best I'd say but there are players and other centers I'd rather have at 17.

Ayton doesn't really rebound outside his area but inside he gets everything. It's going to be interesting how he does once players are as big as him at the next level but at worst he's going to be a very good rebounder and that is saying something.

Bagley is going to be a better rebounder than Carter imo. His first and second jump are super quick and he's going to be a menace on the offensive board.

Who do you guys like between Zhaire Smith and Lonnie Walker? I'm kind of torn. Gotta watch more film, but I'm extremely intrigued by both.

Same. I think both could end up in the lottery. I've soured a bit on Zhaire recently, mostly because some things he's been really good in college won't translate 100% to the NBA while his weaknesses will translate.
Lonnie Walker's upside is determined by his ball handling, which is currently not that great. But he seems to have made it a priority so I'm confident he'll get there.
