The Sac pick(top 1 protected) or our pick(unprotected) in 2019

I’ll like to trade down and do a deal like what we did with Boston to accumulate more picks but BC isn’t that type of GM who does that.

wait so we lose sac's 1st rounder next year EXCEPT if it is the number 1 pick? my god ... it is better to give up the lakers pick this year smh

sac is going to suck again next year that is likely to be a top 5 pick for sure

I have a Top 8 of Luka Doncic, Deandre Ayton, Mo Bamaba, Marvin Bagley, Wendell Carter, Jaren Jackson, Trae Young, and Michael Porter in no particular order. I would be ecstatic if one of those dudes dropped fell to # 10 for us to take, absolutely ecstatic

As a Boston fan it's in both our teams interest for it to convey this year. Although it's unlikely. This draft is full of great big men while you guys need a wing(which next draft should have). Plus instead of getting the 10th pick this year you'd probably get a better pick from Sacramento next year.

Bamba and Porter easily could fall. I would even say one is likely to. I’d put Trae Young on there pending workouts (if he’s smart he demands an empty gym). Each has his risks.

I understand Boston fans wanting this pick.

But all this talk of Sacramento being that bad next season is mindboggling to me.
They tanked this season (openly) and ended up #7. Next season they have an extra talent, more experience and can add 2 decent vets because of cap space. And they have nothing to lose for.

I see them end up at 10 (like LA this season). In a much worse draft apparently

Yup, no way Kings are worse next year than this year. They actually have some talent and cap space. The Nets were a unique situation with literally no talen, now celtics fans assume all their picks will turn out like that.

Everything might work out well for the 76ers. And Boston ends up with the kings pick next year which will fall in the 10 or lower range. But it just highlights how reckless our GM is. The trade depends on so much luck and having things turn out just right. It's scary.
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.

It’ll be funny if the Nets pick ends up first this year.

Which would allow LBJ....Cleveland to do another Andrew Wiggins type trade and make another championship run.

For it to “work out” requires Fultz being a good player as well.

I could see BC using 10 for some win now piece and hoping that gets LeBron to sign. I could see him going meme and using it on some Euro. Basically we’re picking between bad options here.

I legitimately don't think I could handle our name not popping up at #10 tonight lol.

#1 should have so much value this year with a perceived generational big man. I think the move would be to trade back to #2 or 3 for a king’s ransom and take Jaren Jackson. Not that I would trust our gm to do that...

we get 1 and keepit; you can lock in Doncic as the pick. I joke about the euro lust but BC was at his games this year despite us not being in the running for him. He's not going to play around and trade back; nor is he going to take another big. Thats not his MO

Just hoping for our pick to stay at 10 and Sacramento jumping into the top 3.

I fear that too but you would hope that after we got handled by Boston BC would realise we need athletic guys that can shoot and also put the ball on the floor.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
