I dunno. There'll be more soft, offensively great centers in the future too.

(actually I haven't watched Ayton ever, just taking advanced stats nerds' word here)

It helps to watch basketball games.

I dunno. His offense is apparently elite. And he can only learn from here. Playing under Chandler will hopefully teach him a thing or 2 about defense.

Ayton and Josh Jackson have the physical tools to become elite defenders at their positions. It's really hard to pass that up, IMO.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

So you'd take Bamba or JJJ? FOH

Luka.

You realize his defense is worse, right?

I thought you said earlier that we are taking Doncic no matter where we land? Are you just taking Gambo's word at face value? They certainly haven't decided for sure who they are picking yet.

The new coach will unlock Ayton's defensive potential. When he is engaged he is capable of guarding some perimeter players. He can be utilized in a switch-heavy defensive scheme.

Honestly I would love it if we could somehow get another pick in the 7-10 rang to take either Trae Young or Collin Sexton. If we don't I wouldn't be mad at Jalen Brunson towards the end of the 1st round.

McDonough and Jones sound enamored with the bigs.

Here's Luka's scouting report. Note the best case scenario and NBA comp. I'll take Ayton.

The thing is even if Ayton is our guy, having Sac 2nd is a good situation. They may really want Doncic and have a pretty terrible GM who we might be able to take advantage of for them to move up. I am 100% fine with either Doncic or Ayton.

The Suns will take Ayton, I'm sure. McD has been hinting at it since like January. Not sure if it's right pick but I'm sure that will be the pick.

I agree it's Ayton.

Expect us to go after Avery Bradley in FA.

I agree. I think he will be our guy when all the dust settles. Question is, do we start hearing trades with the Spurs for Leonard?

Please no, without a guarantee that he wants to stay here

You keep #1 and trade the plethora of picks and young assets for him instead.
