I tend to think the talent drop off from the Bridges boys to Sexton, Knox, SGA, etc. is quite steep, and we can't really afford to dilute our talent.

That's why I want Miles.

I've been back and forth on Miles all year. Going into the season I predicted we'd end up with the 6th worst record (and any other year, 29 wins=5th or 6th) and we'd take Miles. However, he didnt seem to improve from yr 1 to 2. He's still a clunky ball handler. Also he lacks ideal length, tho I'm interested in getting official measurements from the combine

Yeah...Wish he was little bit taller............

Miles did improve. He showed a completely different skill set than he showed in his 1st season. He literally took every negative criticism of his game and showed it could be a strength this season. Improved FT and 3 point shooting, dribble drive penetration, finishing with both hands and perimeter defense.

He is the same size as Mikal Bridges with more athleticism and an NBA ready body.

As opposed to ending in the same position if they won a few more games? Cmon man there was no incentive to win those meaningless end of the season games against those end of the bench rotations we were facing.

knicks only won 6 games after kp got hurt they couldn't lose every game and still a deep draft i hope the knicks either get a small forward or center in this draft and i am fine with the three point guards we have on the knicks let them prove themselves if they suck there gone.

We beat Miami with them playing everyone. The hero of the game was Dotson. We beat Cleveland at the end of the season with literally G leaguers and Frank. Sometimes there isn't much you can do. Orlando won at the end of the season and they moved down tonight. It happens to everyone. Nothing we could have done about those wins. But it is a deep draft and you can get an excellent player at 9.

Watching videos of Kings and Suns lottery viewing partys..

I'am sure none of them were that happy about any event(win) in the regular season..

Shows what a joke lottery is.

Dude both of those teams are poised to dominate the east for the next decade nothing has changed that with us getting the 9th pick and probably adding a decent rotation player/starter for the second year in a row.

Getting the top pick was our only chance to even compete with them in the future and even wouldn’t have been enough

We love winning meaningless games rest of the bad teams tank at the end of the season.

I mean KP was down. Nobody would blame us with tanking.

I wouldn't be mad if we played Frank, Dotson, Hernangomez etc. all year and this was the result...

One factor to consider: as much as the Suns and their new coach are familiar with Luka, and they are, the fact that Ayton will get the opportunity to work out in front of them could make a big difference. Luka might not get the opportunity to. And Ayton is gonna impress big time in workouts.
SUNS: Deandre Ayton

Sacto is a a funny spot. If they draft Luka where does he play? Bogdan or however you spell it was solid, Buddy Curry is their guy and Fox is the PG of now and the future. Maybe a trade back with Atlanta or Memphis?
It’s a good problem to have though.
KINGS: Luka Doncic

Atlanta takes the best big left or maybe if Porter checks out they see him as a KD type. Bomba’s lack of offense may scare them away.
HAWKS: Marvin Bagley

Do they try to retool with a fit pick or do they go upside?
Bomba would be redshirting in essence behind Gasol and their other young big without a trade. I could see a surprise here. And y’all won’t like it.
GRIZZLIES: Mikal Bridges

Dallas high fives. They get a choice of JJJ’s upside and two way promise or Bomba’s motor and length or Porter’s offensive potential to pair for the next decade with Dennis Smith. I think they go with Bomba here and figure they could coach up his offense. It’d give Dirk life too. The whole Texas deal plays well there too.
MAVS: Mo Bomba

Orlando should think about trading back. A lotta redundant talent (with what they have) here UNLESS they love one of the PGs this high. Trae’s playmaking makes Gordon, Vucci, Fournier and Isaac all better but he’s awfully small. I think he makes sense here though.
MAGIC: Trae Young

Chi could go a few ways but ultimately I think they’ll opt for the most skilled big guy to open up the floor even more next to Lauri with Dunn pushing it and finding shooters. Team light skin could work here too teaming a Michael Porter with Lavine and Valentine. Carter would be good here but I think they’d see JJJ as a perfect athletic compliment to the bigs they already have.
BULLS: Jaren Jackson Jr

Cleveland ain’t scared of Lebron leaving. I think they’ll be loooking at the best long term play here. Carter would help them right now and that’s cool but Gilbert may say to hell with Lebron’s window and want to move on and if that’s the case I could see them drafting a guy who they project as a star. Sexton would be a good fit here either way but I think they opt for the upside.
Draft him and sit him the entire year. Start their own process.
CAVS: Michael Porter Jr

We get a choice of the two guys I don’t want in Carter and Sexton. I think the trade down option will definitely be discussed. SGA, Knox and Zhaire get looks here as does Lonnie but I think we make the obvious play and find a way to the other Bridge.

I'm kind of with you on this. I think it would be the Cavs though. I can't see Chicago passing on Porter who I think is there at 7. Like last year we're gonna have 3-4 guys to choose from. It's gonna be fun.

Except we did lose. We lost more games than anyone except for Memphis and Phoenix once KP went down. And look what happened to Memphis and Dallas. Hardcore tanking and they dropped two spots.

KP had a LOT of help from Jack and Lee to reel in those pre-injury W's. Those roles should have belonged to Frank and Dot.

They would have both grown in skill and experience, and naturally it would have helped our draft positioning.
