No way Trae goes top 3. ATL has other holes to fill too. Id be shocked if they pass up on Bagley.

They like Bagley ahead of Young...

That being said, I want either of those guys at #6 because they have the best chance of becoming superstars based on the info we have. I'd also want these guys if we were picking #1 (maybe Doncic).

Trade back into the first round and snag a developmental athletic freak to appease WeHam.

I'm sorry but this is a terrible idea.
There are a solid 6-7 players and we are at #6.

Whoops, I meant keep #6 and trade for another pick in the first round to grab a guy like Jontay Porter. I am not a fan of trading our #6 to move back. I'm with you in that we can get superstars talent at #6 and should go for it.

As expected. Collins is good but Bagley could very well be star talent.

I think Ayton is a lock for #1. The trio of Ayton, Booker, and Jackson is exciting for Suns fans.

Vlade is pretty much-stroking everyone in the organization right now after luckily moving into the top 2 and being in a position to add Luka. He is salivating at the idea of Luka with Fox.

Then comes ATL, who is rebuilding and needs all the talent available. Bagely has to be their guy.

So is Trae a threat to be picked by Memphis and Dallas? Dallas unlikely since DSJr is their PG of the future. And Griz prob the biggest losers of the lottery. Tanked like hell and dropped back to the 4th. Away from Bagley and the other top 2 guys. I think there is the darkhorse spot for MPJr.

The path of Trae Young in Orlando is looking clearer and clearer.

Trae Young is my pick for sure. It just seems like the logical pick for me. I understand Hammond likes his long athletic freaks but getting a dynamic Point Guard who has amazing range and can score like he can just makes too much sense to me for them to pass up. Porter Jr. and Bamba would probably be the type of players Hammond would typically go for, so I could see us taking either of them, and I wouldn't be too upset about it, but I just think Trae Young can be the star the Magic are looking for.

If Mikal Bridges is available at our 6th pick, THAT BETTER BE OUR SELECTION

If Mikal bridges goes in the top 5, than there's nothing we can do about that and in that case, SGA better be the pick unless for some reason Donicic, Bagley or JJJ drop to 6th but they won't.

I think top 5 picks goes like this

1.Suns- Ayton(This is way to obvious since the guy played at Arizona in College, Arizona and Phoenix are in the same state)
2.Kings- Donocic
3.Hawks-Bagley
4.Grizzles-Porter
5.Mavericks- JJJ

I definitely don't see Bamba, Carter, Trae or Sexton going in the top 5 but there's no shock or surprise if Mikal Bridges goes in the top 5 which is absolutely a real threat.

Porter all day tomorrow and the next day of he slips to us. I have a deep sense it's inevitable we take Young. But Boston is the blueprint man. Build up a stock pile of skilled big wings. PGs are a dime a dozen to me.

Name me the last 30 years championship teams with the PG as the main scorer who have won it all? Thomas's Pistons. Curry's 2015 Warriors (Last year was Durant). The rest was either a great big man (Shaq, Duncan, the Dream) or big time wing (LeBron, Jordan, Kobe, Wade).

Young could be very good, but you BETTER give him the keys to the offense. He 6'2 but he doesn't seem long at all. I wasn't impressed the 2nd half of the year at all. I think it's poison to draft him in the top 10. I just do not see him taking us to the next level.

Porter though. Yikes. I think when he starts working out with teams and shows he is healthy he will jump Jackson and Bamba. I sincerely hope not. Think he is the wing scorer we desperately need. You could be looking at a lineup with Mario, AG, Issac, Porter, Evan all 6'7 and up. I think AG and Porter would compliment each other perecftly.

Ultimately I think we end up with Young. If Jackson or Bamba drop like I think they will I wouldn't mind trading back for the right price.
The hero Orlando deserves is out there somewhere, Dwight was not the one we needed. So we will hunt for him...

Yep we slid again. Hoping Young is still there and if not then Bamba maybe but I would also have to heavy consideration to Sexton and Mikal Bridges. But yeah I am dissapointed with tonight but would be ok if Young is still available at 6. If not I am not going to be very happy but you never know who will workout so we shall see.

I think he will be better than Jameer. Young put up great numbers for a freshman. Perhaps better than jameer`s 4-year ncaa career.

Maybe his shooting percentage will be similar to jameer when he enters the league, but his court vision is up there, imo.

It will be interesting to see which teams Porter gives his medical info to...

Right now the pick will be between Porter, Bamba, or Young.

No way Doncic, Ayton or Bagley are there by 4. So, unless Dallas or Memphis decide to take JJJ, Orlando will be taking whoever is left of the three.

As you gave me Jackson as an option, I selected him.

But I cannot see a path for him to slide to #6. In the end, given the Magic's glaring need at PG, it looks to be Young.

And our 2018/19 Magic looks to be:
Augustin/Young/Caupain
Fournier/Ross/Iwundu
Isaac/Simmons/2nd-rounder
Gordon/Hezonja/2nd-rounder
Vučević/Biyombo/Birch

I like this team moving forward, but I suspect many here will want to blow the roster up.

The love for Mitchell around here is getting pretty ridiculous. He had a nice season, which certainly bodes well for his future, but he isn't the primary reason that Utah won 48 games and a playoff series. He was given a long leash and allowed to develop his game on the job, but his per game numbers have really inflated perceptions about how good he was this year. His usage was high and his efficiency was middling.

Utah is good because they are a great defensive team. Most of the credit for that belongs to Rudy Gobert. Utah was 16th in offensive efficiency this year. They tied for first in defensive efficiency with Boston. Utah's success this year should serve as a reminder of the potential defensive value of a Jonathan Isaac.
