Re: 2018 NBA Draft Talk
12 and 13, interesting. I wonder what direction the Clippers will go with these draft picks.
Personally, I would like to see them keep the picks. It was nice to see Doc finally playing some young players last season.
But, if they can land a home run with a superstar free agent, then I don't mind them trading the picks for some added talent.

I still think we go two wings here, unless Sexton or Carter Jr. falls to 12. I see so many places having us taking a big but I don't see it.
If the Clippers win the championship next year I'm getting banned from RealGM

It means you've been finishing high in the standings.
It also means your scouting sucks.

Keep the picks and draft wings. Golden State isn't losing for the next five years, making win-now trades is pointless.

No excuses now.
For years, the Clippers had among the thinnest staffs in the NBA under the thrifty ownership of Donald Sterling. Since the arrival of Steve Ballmer in 2014, the franchise has grown into a robust organization with a basketball operations department that has expanded exponentially in size.

BTW, some hilarious Sterling stuff here. He asked why they needed a trainer--why couldn't his coach Paul Silas tape the players' ankles?

Agree with this take and I'd be troubled if we had a GM who had a different view of it.
We stand a good chance to lose our 2019 pick too since we are not tanking. Upgrading the roster summer 2019 will consist of free agency and dealing from the roster only.

Our pick next year is top 14 protected. Since Doc and Austin are still here, I think we'll end up keeping it.

My guy has a 1st round guarantee, and I'd bet its early 20s. Would love to pick him up.
Plus, why would I want to go to the NBA? Duke players suck in the pros.
