Sometimes a team just has your number. Cleveland is one of them. Love, Korver, Smith and even Lebron are missing the same shots they were making in our series. Sometimes you just feel confident playing certain teams and the Cavs looked at us like food after game 1. I really do think if we won game 1, we could have made it past the Cavs.

You can't hide your starters in the playoffs like we did in the regular season. Momentum is important in the playoffs, especially when you're playing with emotional fragility. The game one loss was so deflating because of how we failed that our spirit was broken. Don't assume the cavs didn't understand this. Casey was right to say that we did not compete at a high level.

One thing I have seen in this group is that we have no true on the floor leaders. PJ Tucker was the closest thing last season.

Then you have a soft coach that wants these guys to take the high road & act like gentlemen.

They should've blown out the Cavs in game 1...everything was in their favour...as soon as they lost that game I knew it was over.

And they have a high IQ group of players that know how to switch, communicate on defense, and switch back on post entry passes in disadvantageous matchups.

You can't teach what they have on the court, no mini training camps or film studies will ever bridge the gap for DD or Ibaka defensively.

Its a talent issue and IQ is just much a part of the 'talent' equation as the physical component.

It will take at least a full season for the team to embrace yet another culture change. Then 1 more year before Lowry's contract expire. then the play style will change again. stuck in medicore hell.

i completely disagree, i think coaching has a lot to do with guidance on when to switch and then instill confidence in them to communicate on defense. If stevens was our coach, you would likely see our players communicating a lot more. One knock on the raptors, is that our two worst IQ players happen to be in the starting lineup, that's ibaka and derozan.

these players have been playing basketball majority of their lives. If they need a coach to come in and tell them "communication is good" then they are more hopeless than you think.

I think this is actually the best thing possibly happening to the Raptors. A WAKE UP CALL to the management and to causal fans that the Raps IS NOT a good team, and lots of work needed to be done.
