btw i don't think it's possible to trade down for the clippers #12+#13 without including the untouchable assets (KP, Frank, future 1sts). but I would throw everything else at them.

like #9, #36, 3m cash, 2019 second (almost no value there..) and whoever they want out of burke/dotson/kornet/mudiay.

Dude is the truth. Sad he got injured, but he's still young enough to strengthen his back. Reminds some of a young Amare before his knees gave up

He's literally nothing like any version of Amar'e.
Should have probably said his explosiveness reminds me of a young Amare.

Isn't dudes story similar to Gilles from last year? He also was amazing in hs, then sucked in collage because of injuries. And got picked 20th.

How could he of sucked in college when he didn't play because of injuries?

Watching how a used car salesman, Danny Ainge SOLD a pair of broke down vets for a king's ransom of draft picks, and built a nice mix of young versatile athletes with a few veterans...

Watching how the Sixers tanked their way to getting 2 franchise players, plethora of draft picks, enough assets to continue to improve, and cap management...

It makes me look at the Knicks and say, "That's it...after all this time?"

Fair enough. Do you take him at 9 if he's there?

I wouldn’t, but that’s just me. Wasn’t a fan before the injury and not a fan after.

I don't think so either, maybe ATL 19,30 and something extra to compensate? That's a dangerous distance to drop though.

Was it just Pierce and KG or was R.Allen also in that trade with Brooklyn?

The Knicks don't get #1 picks to be able to get players that have the chance of being stars like they did with Embiid (they got him at #3 because of the injury concerns) and B.Simmons and M.Fultz. We're usually picking in the lottery but more towards the end of it besides the KP pick which shows what you can do with a high pick and we lost so many 1st rounders in the Melo trade and with how bad I.Thomas messed this team up with his trades. You get two top 3 picks in a row and you can add two young stars to the team which is a huge help for any team rebuilding.

I don't think Ainge should get the credit. Rather, Billy King and Prokerov deserve the blame.

Bingo. Remember, Prokerov wanted to the premier basketball team in the city by any means necessary.

Ainge should get credit for how he used all those picks though which some were used on kids like J.Brown and J.Tatum while he used others to trade for future 1st round picks and even used a couple in some good trades like getting Kyrie. I thought it was a very smart move to trade one of the 1st rounders he got last year and turning it into future picks instead of using them all right away.

It’s extremely frustrating knowing we have no way to complete with the Celtics the next 7,8 years and where gonna have to see them win multiple titles eventually.

Then next year even if we do stink enough to win the lottery which we probably won’t its one of the weaker drafts in years and there is nothing close to a generational talent

There right there too..I mentioned both the Sixers and Celtics last year were gonna dominate the east for a decade and it looks on its way to happening.

none of the talent on the celtics is generational, so this idea that we need one to compete with them is just wrong.

Tatums damn close..And if you don’t have a generational talent having 5 possible all stars on your team is pretty close..they’re gonna be in the finals and next year get Kyrie and Hayward back but we won’t have to compete with them? Lol wtf are you talking about?

Add in the Kings pick next year and the Grizzlies and Clippers unprotected picks in the next few years they have a ton of assets to get even better.

If you think their set up for the future isn’t much better then ours then you’re just being dellusional and homerish
