I was messing around with the trade machine and just realized its theoretically possible with some maneuvering for the 76ers to trade something like Covington + Fultz + 10 for Kawhi + filler, then sign Lebron and use the MLE and a minimum contract on Redick and Belinelli... Its probably extremely unlikely, but could that potentially be the most stacked team of all time?

Simmons/Mcconnell
Redick/Belinelli
Kawhi/Anderson
Lebron/Saric
Embiid/Holmes

I don't think Fultz/Covington/10 gets Kawhi unless Kawhi specifically asks out.

Either way, that is one filthy roster, damn

When lebron is locked in defensively, he is down right scary. Just a nightmare out there

I’m guessing you guys still want Rodney Hood.

Some food for thought

Has potential implications for a Kemba / Monk combo as the team's primary scoring threats.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

I wanted him over PJ Hairston, not a good look for him though to be mad that he's not in the rotation and give up on his team in the middle of the playoffs.

What about the thomas/dumars pistons? Or if rockets win this year harden/paul?
Game is different and guards are much more important that before, but I would even argue pippen and MJ were the pg and sg for the bulls

I don't like that take. The league has changed a lot. The Rockets were the best regular season team this year by far, and are as good or better than the 2016 Thunder or 2016 Cavs, the two toughest teams the Warriors have faced so far. Now obviously neither Kemba or Monk is ever going to be what Harden/CP3 or Curry/Klay. Even Lowry/DeRozan or Lillard/McCollum would be optimistic comparisons.

This team is a long way from contention even if Monk blows up, but the new trend is that your ball-handlers are your best players and you surround them with versatile guys who can shoot. If Monk becomes our #2 we'll be in good shape as a competitive 1st round team (ie not be matched up with CLE/BOS), but the rest of the roster has to improve for us to take that next step.

I still think Lamb is better. Definitely a better defender.

Oh and he continues to cheer for his team even when he’s unjustly benched.

Didn’t say I wanted him to replace Lamb.

If he comes here either he’s replacing Lamb or he’ll be mad about being benched even more. Was just saying if we’re going to even entertain it I might as well put into perspective what his role might be.

Tbh I wouldn’t mind trading Batum for Hood if we’re going to play him like Clifford did but I got faith that Borrego will use Batum at PF some where he’ll be more valuable as a stretch 4 than a sloth footed SG that’s hesitant to shoot.

That was THE most frustrating thing about Clifford and Cho. We had and still have the personnel to run a modern NBA lineup with 3 wings, a big, and a guard. But instead of playing the mobile/skilled bigs that maximize the talents of our other players we traded for AND signed paint clogging bigs in Hibbert and Howard. Those decisions more than anything are what cost both Clifford and Cho their jobs.

Frank and Cody need to play as much as health and endurance allow, I'm tired of us bringing in veterans that get in the way of the players we invested lottery picks in. They've all been in the league for several years now, STOP playing other guys in front of them! And that includes Monk and Lamb as well.

Watching Baynes in the playoffs made me realise how well a cheap big like him would have done so much better for our offence than Dwight. When he's not setting screens, he's trying to seal his guy in the post to allow easy access to the basket, not demanding the ball. Our attacking guards would thrive with a big like that

We have a guy like that in Cody, we need another player just like him.

With the recent sports gambling being legal, could the NBA get in on this and help solve our cap problem in the process?

According to the article MJ couldn’t make a decision in time and they had to make the pick. Geez....
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.
