Suns should just move their team to Slovenia, draft Luka, and with Coach Igor hopefully they'll be in position to make some noise in Eurobasket over the next few years.

They don't have their pick next year...Boston/Philly does.

I'm just hoping it's a move to force his way down to 9 haha

I'm pretty torn on this, on one hand I'm happy with the top 9 guys in the draft landing in NY taking one guy out of that picture drops us to the next tier of projected talent. On the other hand, I'm projecting the Knicks are going to have a pretty bleak season that includes many losses and if Doncic declares next year instead I think we'd have a much better chance of getting him.

Yeah I'd want to see him on the Knicks, maybe he can leak stories about staying in Euroupe unless he gets drafted by new york, but then again Ricky Rubio tried to do the same thing

Boston has that pick. Boston has every pick lol :P

Boston doesn't have that pick yet. The pick is #1 protected. If the Kings win the lottery the Celtics will get the Sixers pick.

I'm not taking him top 5 if he's not coming over.

Sounds like someone who doesn’t want to play in Sacramento.

What is the lowest you guys sees him falling? 5? 6? Would love too see him and Porzingis, playing together. Knicks would love to stash him in Europe one more year, while Porzings get better and they tank another season.

This cant be the only game... Maybe he doesnt want to go #1 and instead wants to go play for Vlade?

Maybe Luka doesnt want to play for his old coach? Wants new beginnings?

Hahaha everyone wants to play detective.

Funny how in most threads he's "consensus top2" and now suddenly he's just some top5 random guy.

Negotiating for what? Rookie contracts are pretty much slotted with each draft pick.

Yeah - the lower he goes in the draft, the less money he makes.

He's conspiring with Philadelphia. Philly trades Fultz and #10 to take Doncic where he stays for 1 year overseas. Embiid misses the season for reconstructive surgery on his face. Simmons goes out after 10 games because of a past injury flare up. Tank for a top 3 pick next year and then add everyone back. The sub process to the process.

You guys trying to figure out which team he's avoiding, I don't think that's the issue. He's been undecided about coming over for a while now, this isn't the first time he's "hinted" that he may stay overseas another year. Dude is living the life and getting all kinds of tail in Spain right now, he's a huge star.

Come out for Sac and Memphis or stay with Real Madrid another year and hope NY, Chicago, Dallas, or Boston get the top pick next year. Plus he'll be going potentially from #3 pick money to #1 pick money because no one in 2019 is on his level as a prospect.

Didn't Ricky stay 2 years in Europe after getting drafted?

Looking at the king's roster I feel pretty good about the pick being in the 2-5 range

I would be happy if he pulls out of the draft simply for the slim chance that Portland would be in a better position to land him in the future.
