They were both nominated. They just weren't finalists.

Still, surprised they weren't finalist..

Ingram was terrible last season as was Randle.

Gordon make a huge jump as well.

outside of Dinwiddie's efficiency from the field he wasn't exactly a scrub out there. cut the crap. he also led this team in win shares.

He finished second in the NBA for assists-to-turnover ratio at 4.1.

Dinwiddie also averaged 12.6 points and 6.6 assists, starting 58 games out of 80 played this season. He finished seventh in the NBA for total assists while averaging just 28.8 minutes per game.

this might the season Dinwiddie proves he's a better PG than Russell - he definitely seems like more of a hooper than Dlo

If Brooklyn is smart (and they are) they lock him up and don't let him slip out the back door like Livingston. Is he a restricted free agent?

they wont lock him up unless he either commits to the vet minimum or we strike out on all tiers of free agency and levert/russell were disappointments at PG

I wouldnt make him an offer. unless he wants to come back for the minimum we cant afford to bring him back.

He will be renounced early on. we will go after starting calibur/high end talent in free agency. if we fail to land anyone, and Dinwiddie hasnt signed, i can see the nets giving him somthing like 2 years 9 million with a team option in year 2.

You're sure of yourself but nothing Marks does is methodical.

he will probably get a better deal than that, i can see him easily getting more than 4 million a year

Unless Dinwiddie regresses hard, he'll definitely get more than $4mil/season from another team.

Spencer's play would have to fall off of a cliff for him to make 4 million a year. There will be suitors lining up for this dude. GMs have seen the tapes. Dinwiddie made huge plays last season, he wasn't voted 2nd in MIP for no reason at all. He's going to get paid, I just doubt we'll be the ones to do it.

He has a tiny cap hold, so we can pull a Harris and sign him last. I think he's our best PG personally.

I have zero issue with waiting until the smoke clears to sign him over the cap. Spencer is a steady hand. I would like him to be more efficient however.
