I'll pick DiVincenzo to rise. Athleticism tests were amazing, that often helps a prospect out even though it's usually meaningless (see Cody Zeller).

Mitchell Robinson rise. He's either got a promise or he's insane. He's the type to get drafted very high because he can do jaw dropping things in a workout in a 1-0 setting. And the fact that he didn't play any college games only helps him as he's 100% potential.

The thing is, who is that recent success story among players of that type who's going to inspire a team to take a swing for him? Teams have been reaching on the raw crazy individual workout guys in an effort to find the next Giannis for a while now. Thon Maker's stock is way down from what it was last year.

Porter does very little for me.

Watch hs as a Sr he was heads and shoulders the best. His comeback hurt him

Take it with a large grain of salt, but some of the Memphis beat writers were talking on the radio and saying that there are mental concerns for Porter. He is incredibly skilled, but he needs to show he can play with a team. He also may lack an aggressive edge. They said he probably is one of the most skilled in the draft, but they just don't know if he can put everything together or not.

I think that plus the back injury are scaring some teams. He just is such an unknown that it may be hard for a team to risk a top pick on him.

Porter is such a high risk/high reward player. Who knows if that back-injury will irrevocably change his ceiling as a prospect.

But that ceiling right now has a chance to be the best player in the draft if he goes to a good team/system. That’s why I’d love to see him in Memphis. He’s kind of a 6’10 slower version of Tatum but without the footwork (which could be taught). If he is asked to just make decisions and finish plays in an offense, I think he can be really good.

I'll go with Melvin Frazier as a guy to rise up draft boards and be a surprise pick.

My biggest guess as of now would be Wendell Carter sliding out of the lottery. There could be a shake-up within the lottery picks but not so much. My other deeper guesses would be Hamidou Diallo and Tony Carr in the late first round, Jared Vanderbilt in the mid 2nd round, Billy Preston and Angel Delgado in the late 2nd round.

It must come as a bombshell to teams looking to draft him that he's a midget, how could they have possibly known this without the combine?

SO he may never had been really a top 10 pick anyway but since most mocks place him there I'd say odds are greater he won't go before 12 .
as far as surprising riser, I'd say Knox has the potential to crack the top 10 and Jontay has the potential to crack the late lottery.
as far as a surprising slide, I'd say Carter could go late teens
as far as a strong possibility to slide, depending on the medicals Micheal Porter could go later than Jontay.

I like Jontay Porter, but I also think Moritz Wagner has a chance to ahead of Porter. The way he shoots threes is pretty unique for someone his size, he bring energy and he runs the floor really well.

given how out of shape Jontay was at the combine I'm not sure he's a first round pick at this point.

Spurs type of player wouldn't be shocked if he went 18th esp if Leonard is definitely out.

Gotta go with Keita Bates-Diop and Kevin Hervey, both have incredible measurables, leadership skills and can score. Don't think Hervey gets into the 1st but KBD looks like a 18-24 guy to me.

No opinion on Hervey but I'd love for my Bulls to have the opportunity to draft DeVincenzo or Bates-Diop with our Pelican's pick at #22. If they are gone then probably Melvin Frazier of Josh Okogie. This is a lot deeper draft than some people predicted. I really like DiVincenzo before but who knew he'd crush the Combine like he has. I mean a 42" vertical? With his defense and shooting?

I don't see Keven Hervey cracking the 1st but Keven Huerter will after the numbers he put up at the combine...assuming he stays in the draft. Most expect him to return to college and be a lottery pick in 2019

I can see Porter Jr (injury concerns), Mikal (teams thinking he's not as high potential), and Sexton (a lot of teams don't need PGs) sliding.

i think trae young will be the guy that ends up 2nd or 3rd overall

ill also throw omari spellman going late lotto, the 2nd wildcat chosen

Well, one is there are a lot of guys climbing up and so some players that are slotted higher would go down. Second is, I just don't see him that far apart from the other bigs that are slotted below him - Robert Williams, Mitchell Robinson, Jontay Porter. If a team is to work these big men on a single setting, I think Carter would look average. He's a more traditional big than Porter, but I don't think he is stronger than Williams and Robinson.

That's just my guess though. The other guys in the lottery seems solid, aside from the possibility of minor shake-up's.
