No. Choose to follow another team. In reality no team is worth watching seeing how good GS and Lebron is. But if you enjoy development then 76ers is my choice to follow

I will continue to put myself through pain and watch all of next season hoping eventually this team turns it around

They've already turned around. This is it for this rebuilding process. Next one will either be next offseason or will take another 3 years

If we had only drafted Devin Booker we'd be drafting #1.

Welp. Move on. Nothing to see here. The Suns have two great young guard prospects and just landed the top pick.

We have no potential stars on our team, are capped out, and our lottery pick if we’d even gotten to use it would have been 12.

One team is effectively rebuilding and making good use of its assets as a lottery team. The Suns have made many mistakes and signed some stupid contracts, it’s not as though they’ve been this phenomenally run team. But they haven’t treated their first rounders like disposable trash and ignored all sense of fiscal responsibility. And they unlike us were willing to fully embrace a rebuild.

Anyone still defending the rebuild on the fly strategy needs to check themselves.

I have to say tonight's draft was one of my lowest moments as a piston fan. I don't like our team and we have run out of options. We are stuck mich like that of a player at the end of a solitary game.

To be fair the Suns really have been just that bad. It's not so much of an intentional tank-rebuild. At least they've made a some smart recent picks in Booker and Jackson though. Warren is pretty solid too. Chriss and Bender... eh. I thought they would come out of that draft with at least one really nice four going forward. Not such much thus far. Still have hope for Dragan.

They're in a really unique position of picking first and having Igor as their coach knowing so much about Doncic.

Bad news is we still won’t. Blake/Dre isn’t enough for playoff success but it will be enough to keep us out of the serious lottery conversation.

Plus Gores wants playoffs playoffs playoffs.

Clearly Kennard's fault. If we had Donovan Mitchell representing us, we'd have definitely moved up into the top 3.

No team tanked harder than Memphis. And they lost spots. Same with Chicago.

Gores wants payoffs payoffs payoffs. But after six seasons, he remained too dense to realize that fans won't return until the organization fields a competitive roster. That's the irony of the matter: through his own foolish management of the organization, he's been costing himself the very profits he's been chasing since day one. Or maybe he's been chasing prestige, in which event the exact same is true. Either way, he's an absolute dolt.

Hopefully Gores is actually watching the playoffs, b/c it's impossible not to be impressed with how well teams like Boston and Philly have played with very young talent.

Gores has spent seven seasons ignoring everything that hasn't conformed with his philosophy. Either he doesn't watch the NBA or he simply has his own, very incorrect ideas about how an NBA team is built. Maybe both.

Are we going to trust a top 4 pick to a lame duck GM who may or may not be around next year? The way I see it, if there were ever a good time to not have a 1st rounder, it would be under these circumstances.

It's not going to happen, so you don't have to worry. However, I couldn't disagree more with your assessment. It would be a lifeline for this organization to luck into a top 3 pick. It's our only chance to improve the roster this off-season. We're capped out otherwise. And this year, a top-3 pick should land you a franchise-level player. Who cares that there's no coach or president right now? There will be by the time the draft rolls around anyway.

Fair enough. I just hate having outstanding debts. Like if we're going to give up a pick, I'd rather give up a low lotto pick this year than an unknown quantity next year. But now that I say it out loud I see how stupid it sounds. Obviously, any chance you could have a top 3 pick you would take it.
