I really don't see the appeal at lest from his public persona. He must be hell of a presence with his players to get the type of reputation he seems to have. I just don't get it.

Agreed. Fiz seems like a players coach, and you and I will never fully understand what it means for players to have a coach who they think has their back, but I really don’t understand the hype.

Yeah, I haven't been impressed with Fizdale either.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Nugs stay put with 14 pick. Ended up 13 from them last year. Not to sure we swing anymore magic with Nugs after last year?

Have to believe the Denver staff wouldn’t trade with us just out of spite at this point. But they really are good trade partners again.

It's painful to watch some of these Cavs players attempt to play basketball. LeBron is playing with a bunch of clowns.

I don’t think he ultimately cares if he loses. He gets to leave with less criticism. Hard not to see him joining the Rockets.

One more to the multitude examples how good team with good coach and chemistry beat random set of player assembled around high usage superstar +1-2 star with coach whose principal goal is to keep superstar happy.

But Boston are lucky that Irving was solidly out. Otherwise they will be almost on the same page and with inferior superstar.

R.I.P. "Utah Jazz vs. Elfrid Payton's Hair" threads.

Payton is going for the Reverse Samson - he's gonna add another 15 inches to his vertical and win the Slam Dunk contest next season after cutting his hair, and average 25+15.

Championship or bust has turned into Warriors or bust. I get that the ratings are good, but I just don't enjoy the playoffs when it's a foregone conclusion and the only question is if the Warriors will try or not.

Off-season is off to a great start.

Clearly Igor heard our complaints and did us one last favor and made him cut it. Obvious conclusion.
