Isn't it just as plausible that if Doncic is posturing to not goto a certain team that that team is the Suns and not the Kings?

- The Kings owner may be a dunce, but the Suns owner isn't a whole hell of a lot better[1].
- Did you know that the Kings have averaged 8 more wins per year over the past 3 years compared to the Suns. If the Kings suck then what would you say about a team that wins 8 fewer times a year?
- The Suns just hired his old coach, but the Kings have European (more specifically Serbian) basketball royalty in their front office (Doncic's nationality may be Slovenian, but he's ethnically Serbian) and they even have one of his friends already on the team (Bogdanovic).

He does have a father who is of Serbian descent, but even his father was born in Slovenia. And his mother is Slovenian. What's most important is that he sees himself as a Slovenian anyway, even though that he's at most half Serbian and half Slovenian.

Fact is the Kings were able to get Bogdan to come play and the Suns could not. The most notable player to not want to deal with the Kings was Emmanuel Mudiay where we gladly took WCS over him. Either way I'm not worried tbh.

16 pts, 7 rebs in a great win vs CSKA on semis. Let's see if he can deliver in the championship game.

He had some assists too. But it was a quiet 16 and 7. He missed a fair number of shots, including a putback he should have made.

Don't get me wrong, I still think he should be #1 in the NBA draft. But this game wasn't the reason.

Don’t know how you guys did a pretty bad job tanking. Bulls should have tanked much harder in a meaningless year with that roster.

Mirotic pushed them out of top 5 picks lol

Donic looks like a slower, but stronger and more composed Manu.

How the hell does ur article say doncic wants to play in NYC with an injured porzingas.

The things people pass off as facts these days is insane.

Can't you read? I didn't say it's a done deal, but rumors. The Kings really want Ayton, but he'll be gone by then. So be happy with Luka if he looks good or Bagley lol.

Really, the pizza guy needs to learn how to read before posting.

I just watched one of the Euro league playoffs with Doncic playing with/against the likes of Anthony Randolph and Gustavo Ayon vs Mike James. Doncic cannot play backcourt. He'll be smoked. His position is SF. I'm not sure how he'll show in workouts, but think he'll fall. Ayton looks good right now.

I can't tell if your a troll or just not very bright so ill break this down real easily.

No where in your bs link does it say that Doncic is interested in the Knicks or playing with Porzingas.

Luka Doncic wants no part of Sacremento; would rather stay in Europe if drafted by this team. Is this the real title?

It was the first game I've watched him in, after a ton of highlight packages.

The thing that surprised me was his speed pushing the ball up the court. When he got it, he sprinted towards the basket and put tons of pressure on the defense. I didn't expect that.

The fact that he's 6'8, 230lbs at 19 years old and can play both fast and also so cerebral and with a lot of toughness and composure makes me think that he's going to be a special player once he has a chance to really get into NBA level training. I think next year he'll be good, but will make a huge jump from year 1 to 2, and even bigger from year 2 to 3. I'd like to see him on Sacramento so that they can build a team around him.

That's cause you can't read correctly what I post and figure things out like I can. Sac is sending Divac and the scouts now while the Knicks have already done so and got the report. Why don't you look up what Porzingis has said about Luka Doncic like on Slam? The Knicks fans here probably already know more about Doncic than the Kings fans due to Porzingis. If I were a Kings fan, then I'd be looking at Ayton #1 and Bagley at #2. Otherwise, trade down for someone like another player/future #1 pick and the Knicks pick.

I also wouldn't say it's aimed directly at the kings. However the kings management has been very questionable and they have no veterans signed for next season outside of shumpert. I just don't see them making the POs in the next 5 to 10 years without radical changes.
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

Has any 19-yr old put up these kind of numbers in Euro league?

People talk about the likes of Anthony Randolph...a guy who put 16/9 on his single season on NCAA, as a teenager, do you have any doubts that a 29 year Anthony Randolph is 10x the player he were with 18y?
Doncic is contributing to wins, while playing against grown men. His competition for the top pick strugled against kids.
This Real Madrid team beated OKC on a friendly match 2 years ago that went to OT, and a 17 years Doncic played 18 min, scored 3 points only, on a bad shooting night, but had 5 rebounds and 4 ast.
If Im picking with the top3, Im taking Doncic, and seeking a defensive cheap center on the market(Favors, Nurkic?) or with a later pick, that sometimes will contribute to more wins than an offensive juggernaut like KAT.

They don't have their pick next year...Boston/Philly does.

I'm just hoping it's a move to force his way down to 9 haha

I'm pretty torn on this, on one hand I'm happy with the top 9 guys in the draft landing in NY taking one guy out of that picture drops us to the next tier of projected talent. On the other hand, I'm projecting the Knicks are going to have a pretty bleak season that includes many losses and if Doncic declares next year instead I think we'd have a much better chance of getting him.

You have no chance of getting him at 9. Delusion.

Did you read what I said?
