Anyone see this?
I know most say they wouldn't do this, what are peoples thoughts?

For me, the biggest issues I'd have with Towns is that he's not a good defender (for some reason) and is about to get a max extension too.

KAT is from Kentucky. Never forget our Kentucky love affair.

So is Cousins. See where I am going with this?

Suns- KAT, 9th pick,
Knicks- 1st pick, M.Chriss
Timberwolves- porzingas,

Suns get a center, then can trade 16/9, and whatever fillers they need up in the draft to draft young.

Knicks get #1 and a solid young big
Timberwolves- swap good young bigs BC there's is disgruntled

Young
Booker
Warren
Josh Jackson
Towns

That's a lineup that can do what the warriors did.

Oh man, KAT would be a dream. If we can somehow keep Josh Jackson in that trade, Booker/Jackson/Towns would be amazing and we would become a premier FA destination with 3 of the best young players in the game.

Josh and 16 for KAT, take Doncic at 1. No way I’m trading 1 for KAT.

he's already an all-star tho. He's 22 years old. Ayton is no guarantee, could Ayton be better than KAT? Absolutely, but no guarantee's. If KAT was 25 or older I would say no, but he's 22. This trade would make me think real hard.

How about we just keep Jackson. Draft Ayton/Doncic and move up in the draft.

Ok, ive thought long and hard on it and......i still dont know when it comes to KAT.

Look, last year we would have been creaming in our pants at the opportunity to get him, but the #1 overall pick changes things immensely.

Lets weigh out the Pro's and Con's.

PRO's
One of the best young bigs in the league.
Booker Bro #1
Will give us 20/10 pretty much every night
Good passer for a C
Great FT shooter for a C
Has 3 point range
Really no injury history
Has shown he belongs in the NBA (Isnt a bust)

CON's
Defense is suspect (And was so under one of the top defensive coaches)
Expecting a big payday (Just like Booker) on last year of rookie deal
Ayton is pretty much the same exact player, but more athletic and on a rookie contract
Judging from the experts, would cost us more than the #1 (Jackson;Maybe another pick)
New big money contract comes at the same time as Bookers new big money contract.
Doesnt have the built in UofA fanbase like Ayton (Not a con to me, but definitely to the FO and UofA Booster Sarver)
Cost (Yes im bringing it up again because its a big deal)

I seriously dont know if i could do it. Ayton gives us a more athletic version of the same exact player, but on a new contract that costs less and would be under our control for longer. And what would the Wolves be asking for? It starts at the #1 and would include players like Jackson and Bender or Warren. Probably another future pick thrown in as well. Is all that worth it when we can just draft Ayton and keep all those assets? But then again....for all we know Ayton could be a bust where we already know KAT isnt...but everyone says that Ayton is generational and has the lowest chance of being a bust. UGH!!!!

But what if it costs us less than what we are being told? When the Celtics name is brought up the trade being talked about is Brown/Tatum (or if Tatum is off the table) Brown/1st. If we could keep that top pick and Booker while giving up Jackson/#16/Warren/Future 1st would that = to the Celtics offer? WOuld that be worth it?

And who knows if KAT really is available? All thats really been said is that the Wolves fired his personal conditioning coach, so people are assuming that he isnt happy with that and in turn the Wolves arnt happy with him.

The more questions i answer the more questions appear.

LOL, Ayton is not the same exact player. KAT is one of the top 10-12 players in the NBA. Ayton ain't nowhere near that.

The last thing we need to do is put together a team of Bookers friends, just dont think that a good way to build a team. That and I personally wouldnt trade the #1 pick for him. Anthony Davis thats another story.
