Any scenario Bagley falls?

I think a case could be made for Ayton, Doncic, JJJ, MPJ, Bamba going over him

Trae young could possibly go to Atlanta at 3 too (unlikely)

Something to think about

Weltman and Hammond have leaned towards superior measurables/athleticism over production in the past.

Bamba would certainly fit that bill.

Doncic and Ayton wont be available

So we ll draft any of the following 4

JJJ my favorite pick, Isaac,AG,JJJ will be very scary
Bamba same as above
Bagley, i m not a far but the potential is there he could fit well next to AG+Isaac
Porter, I m not big fan of injured players, also not too sure how he ll fit next to AG and Isaac. unless u go really small and play 3 forwards and no center
Sign SRP to (1.2M) and Cain (2.5M)
use UP to the Full TPMLE (~$6.1M)
Spend up (11M$ - the amount we spent on the TPMLE)
waive + stretch Jonathan Isaac

Suggs,AB,Jase
Bane,GTJ,AB
Franz,TDS,Cain
P5,Prince,Penda
WCJ,Goga,SRP

Bill Simmons and Jonathan Tjarks don't think Mo Bamba could play in a series against the 4 conference finalists. They say he wouldn't be able to stay on the court. They say his best case scenario is Gobert and even Gobert got cooked by Curry

They're not super excited about discussing Trae Young because so many teams already have a PG but they say he could be a good fit in Orlando

Bamba scares me more than any other prospect this year, he’s going to be drafted solely on his
Metrics and needs to learn the game still. His offense is so painful to watch.

Porter's back scares the crap out of me. Even if he checks out, I'd still worry about down the road.

I like Mikal Bridges a lot but I wouldn't pick him over Bamba. I would trade a future pick for the chance to jump up and get Bridges to pair with whoever we take at 6.

I mean the draft is still 5 weeks away, can't write Porter off yet. First see his recent medicals, see what doctors say and your team training staff feel about the injury long term. What if he absolutely kills workouts, they way Penny did in '93? Let's not forget this time last year, Porter was widely regarded as the #1 pick in this class.

It's way too soon not to consider him with a top 6 pick.

I'm opening up to Porter.

The fundamental looks fine. Dwight Howard was drafted the same way. Drafted for potential: 0 Offense 100% defense.

I'm thinking could porter play SG? He's 6"10 but only 211 pounds and it got me thinking if he could play/defend SG's?

I just listened to it. They said, in the Celtics-Cavs series Bamba wouldn't get 5 minutes. They also said, Gobert was exposed against the Warriors and Rockets this season.

This is the reason Simmons still predicts Doncic to go 1 to Phoenix and how they've already signed his coach. He says in the new NBA team just run a bunch of 6'6" to 6'9" guys out there.

This might be another reason to draft Bridges or SGA.

Yes, if I were the Suns I'd take Doncic over Ayton, but it's a move that would take a lot of balls

Also why I'm not interested in Bamba, simply not agile enough to play significant minutes in the playoffs, why draft a player like that?

When I watch the heavily edited clips of Bamba shooting threes, all I see is a late and low realise. Yes the ball goes in and his massive height and reach are fine, but the release is ugly.

It all reminds me HEAVILY of:
