We still have the rights to this guy, right?
Who knows, maybe Aaron White will come stateside this offseason.
He was pretty bad when he left, but he looks like he's gotten a little bigger and is more comfortable on the court...

Hope we sign him to a rookie deal this summer. He could be a nice rotation player, small ball 4 that can play on both ends, high basketball IQ, team guy.

Was never that impressed with White when he was here in Summer League. At least his three-point shooting has improved so sure, why not at least bring him in for a look.

.......the "highlight" video wasn't all that impressive. Sure give him a shot but not optimistic it translates to the NBA. As much as Sato as improved, he's still not all together there yet.....and his highlight videos were dope af.

I mean, is he worse than the trash we have in Mahinmi and Smith?

The moment I saw him in the summer league a few years back I said Aaron White will never play a minute in the NBA.

I'd give him a summer league invite but not expecting much

His career college stats were crazy:
25 PER, .611 TS, 9.0 BPM
But he was complete trash in both summer league appearances. Who knows

Yep. Typically when you draft and stash you pick a guy with upside.
EG seems to have picked a dude who peeked in college.

Another SL tryout? Dude was absolutely terrible, didn’t even look like a G-League prospect.

If memory serves, he's 6'8" with the wingspan of a 6'5" player. So, unless he found a way to stretch his wingspan in Europe, or he morphed into a 40%+ 3PT shooter, I still don't see him making an NBA roster.
Always remember, my friend: the world will change again. And you may have to come back through everywhere you've been.

He is 6'8 w/o shoes and a 6'10.5 wingspan (8'10.5 standing). His height/length measurements are VERY similar to John Collins, Alan Williams, Sam Dekker, Julius Randle, Aaron Gordon, and Otto... All guys who play the 4 easily...some even the 5.

[Sarcasm]He must be great averaging nearly 15 points and 7 rebounds per 36 minutes in Europe - and 1.5 assists and 0.6 blocks! And 0.9 3's!!! [/Sarcasm]

Otto has a 7’2 wingspan, almost 4 inches longer than White.
Not that I disagree, White has solid size for a small ball 4

I mean, might as well give him a look. They invested a 2nd rounder in him when dudes like christian wood were available I think. Its pretty much do or die time with him. We also kinda need grunfeld to get a bargain contract again since Scott is probably gonna bounce.

Why not just give Christian Wood that look? I don't know why he's not in the league. Look what his predecessor at UNLV, Khem Birch, has done at Miami?
I wanted us to keep Khem Birch, & now I want us to sign Christian Wood.
