At 16, I like Milton, Porter, Robinson, Walker. Won't be upset with Musa either.

At 31, Bonga, Khyri Thomas, Shamet, Melton, Kurucs, Bates-Diop, Dialo.

59: Brandon McCoy, or guys you can keep overseas (Kulboka, Bitadze)

I like Bonga if he can develop a consistent jump shot. Maybe we could hire someone to work with him in Europe until he is ready to play in the NBA. Then again we have TJ Warren who is a similar player.

I also like Bates-Diop. His tape reminds me of Derrick Williams in college. The question is if that will translate at the next level.

I don't see Warren as quite similar. Bonga to me is more of a playmaker. He tends to set up others well from my admittedly limited viewing since he's international. I also think Bonga is a potentially top quadrant athlete. He has elite length and seems very quick/fast for 6'9". I don't think he will ever be the scorer Warren is, but if he can knock down an open 3 consistently, he becomes a guy who can hit 3s, initiate offense, initiate fast breaks off the dribble or pass, and switch and guard the 2-4 spots at least. That is really valuable. Kind of a poor man's Iggy.

Shake Milton has had a bad combine, and Tony Carr got shut down by Jevon Carter - who is stealing the show in the combine scrimmages, it appears.

Carter or Allen at 31 would be great.

I have a feeling that Grayson has put himself out of our reach at the combine, i can see a team taking him with a late 1st. Sucks because i think he would have been perfect here.

Im actually now interested in going after Jalen Brunson. He's older (More seasoned), so he is less raw and more ready to contribute right away. Lower ceiling because of his age.

Look, he's not going to be a star....or even a starter, but a solid back-up that you can rely on.

The days of buying picks have changed. If you are going to be a team faced with 2 or3 big ticket players (which is seeming to be a prerequisite) you need those low salary contributors.

One guy I like is that Colson from ND... yellow flagged from injury but a hard nosed all around good baller.

I'm not interested in Brunson. A capable shooting PG at the NCAA level, but he's short, and what we need is defense and physicality at the 1. Definitely take Carter or Allen over him.

One site to use the Pat Ewing comparison for Ayton, which I like better than the Admiral one.

P.S. I don't see the explosiveness and agility of David in Ayton, and can much easier imagine Ayton shooting mid-range jumpers Ewing-style in his prime.

Edit : Do we consider one of the weaknesses of Ayton for settling for too many jumpers actually a strength ? According to a few posters teams are now focusing on defending the 3-point line and the post.

Spoiler:
People say that all the time, "I dont see him like Robinson", but people dont realize where alot of these player comparisons are coming from, meaning they dont go into detail about what makes him Ewing like or what makes him Robinson like. Now Jay Williams on the other hand, explains why he says that Ayton is a mix of Davis/Horford/Robinson:

I think he's good. He's the type the Suns can use... he's the type who tries to get under their skin, would love a player like that.

Pick 16... then draft Shake Miltion at Pick 31..... assuming Suns dont trade up...

If he can become a Marcus Smart type player, I’d take him.

I just hope the pick at 31 is a college senior - an older player more ready to contribute. I prefer a guy that is more defense/hustle but Allen would be the exception as he can shoot the ball

At 16 - I think you swing for the fences

I've been looking at Elie Okobo as a possibility for 31. Guy does well running the PnR and has a lot of upside.

I don't have any interest in Brunson or really any PG at 31. Reason being is they need a starting PG and unless SGA falls to 16 I don't see anyone else who could reasonably be available with 16 or 31 who has stater potential. So I think they ultimately trade for a vet PG and then at backup PG I think they are fine with some combo of Knight, Ulis, Shaq or even Payton on a cheap deal.

If they keep 31 I'd go draft and stash Euro or maybe some super raw high upside guy like Simmons and just plan on putting them in the D-league for the entire season.

Kerrsed.....Alkins? You love having college teammates....and then there is this....

Read on Twitter

Get some more of this? Nice pass from Ayton. If we draft him I'm sure we will see some of these to JJ...
