Here's the plan:

Warriors win at home again.

Rockets lose in a close, tough one in 5.

Five.
The Playoffs don't care about your Analytics

Its just a shame that not one damn team is currently constructed to even give the Warriors a 7 game series

On Thursday, Rockets won by 22 points at home and last night they were beaten by 41 points. I mean, you can lose, home court advantage and etc... but to lose by 41 points???

I suspect it is because sides in the play-offs once they know they have no chance of winning preserve themselves for the next game.

As I said in an earlier post, there is no outcry from the owners or players on the other teams, I would suggest because they are not hypocrites and would have done the same if they could and because the GSW with Durant hegemony which hasn’t even lasted 2 years as yet is temporary due to considerable good management and some luck, and they don’t want their future options restricted by a knee jerk response to something temporary.

After game 1: the series is over before it starts. KD ruined the league.
After game 2: Curry is done, KD ruined his career, Curry's cliff is coming, how do they unload Klay and Green's contracts.
After game 3: the series is over before it starts, KD ruined the league.

That's why I lost all the interest in participating basketball discussion in this thread.

Absolutely.

I don’t think most GSW fans are counting game 4 as a certain win. As is being said elsewhere it may well be a tight game, and if Houston win it is back to a 3 game series with Houston having HCA.

Wasn't this series suppose to be "the real finals?"

The 25 point average margin of victory doesn't agree.

Half the people who are "rooting" for Houston or shall I say "negging" GS are GS fans. That's how silly this playoff series is. Everyone knows GS is steam rolling their way to another chip. The only ones arguing other wise are a handful of die hard Rocket fans and a lot of GS fans in an effort to marginalize how over powered their team is. I'm not sure I've ever seen this phenomenon before.

Yes, a few GSW fans took the 22 point loss in game 2 as a sign they might not sweep the series.

I find 2 years of constant carping about a team which hasn’t even won 3 titles yet and was formed entirely within the rules of a sport a strange phenomenon myself, particularly given the sport concerned largely rose to its current level of popularity on the back of a dynastic team which won 6 titles.

This is a retooling year. Look at the east. Celtics without their 2 star players just youngins? Other rising young guys in the 76'ers. In the West, Spurs fell apart. Clips sold the farm. Only other team standing was the Rockets. Is all the complaining by age? And dont recall other great teams.. Should be a case study for psychologist.

I think it's less the internet per se and more the rage factory echo chamber it has become.

Seemingly, there are a lot of people who watch the NBA to get upset about Durant and, to a lesser extent, Curry and Harden.

Game 3 was so ugly because the Rockets bench rolled over and died in garbage time -- otherwise, Game 2 was actually worse as the Warriors were put away earlier.

If the Rockets could have finished at the rim in Game 3 (admittedly most shots were contested), the game never would have gotten out of hand.

The Rockets simply have to shoot well to win, they cannot leave points at the rim and at the line. Their role players have to be a threat from the three point line.

If the Rockets win Game 4, they are back in the driver's seat. I'm amazed so many people are ignoring that. Looking forward to Tue.
“I pretty much played the last three games with a broken hand,” James said as he sat there with a softcast on the right hand.

Whats with the hate on the showboating or this shimmy? I personally love it. Kobe and jason terry had the jet wings after a 3, MJ with the tongue, the mailman with his arm behind the back, vince carter with the fists after a dunk, darius miles with the hands against the head, melo and his dumb thing he does after a 3, wes matthews with the bow and arrow after a 3 and james harden with his stolen Lil B chef dance. There are many more. People are crying over the steph shimmy? Is it because they are always winning?

It might be because they seem so unstoppable. Everyone knows they are the best team and a lot of people dont think it is fair, so when they celebrate it kinda rubs it in. Its like ok we know you are the best...Or it could be how much they complain as soon as stuff starts going the other way. If he was on another team, I doubt anyone would care that much. He wont look as weird when he finally hits puberty though.
