I guess D’Antoni finally got something out of keeping his starters in late into a blowout.

Better not risk it and ruin him for the whole PS if it's bad. Gives him several days to get better for game 5. Others need to step up.

Iguodala being out for the series if he would be - Rockets would still lose it in max 6 games.

Iguodala being out means Klay/Draymond play more minutes to make up for Iggy being out, and one of Livingston, Nick Young get less minutes.

This is the Finals, the best players will just play more.

Non-issue for GS.

Curry can barely move, walk, or even breathe at this point. Hopefully he can play well again with no legs.

Bigger challenge means bigger reward. That's why I do not understand this "xxx ruined the league" thing. Well, instead of complaining, do something about it. Give it your best shot. If you pull it off, that becomes a lifetime memory of achievement. Beating this Warriors team (in WCF) certainly serves as much weight in my heart as either of those Hakeem's championships. "We did the impossible" is the mentality.

You can suck, tank, rebuild, or you can gamble big. To me personally, I am glad our GM chose the latter. He didn't chicken out, "oh they will be good for another 3-4 years, lets just tank, accumulate assets, and wait for our turn". He knows superstars like Harden don't come to Houston every other year, so if you are lucky to have one, go all in, make the best out of it, even it means you can still end up winning nothing AND pay for the price for this gamble for the next half decade of being mediocre (ie going back to those Kevin Martin days).

But that's just me.

While I agree with this (I felt the Cavs were playing with house money in last years finals), it can't be much fun for NBA fans whose teams are not involved.

And those are the fans the league wants watching these games. The Warriors have only been challenged one time in the past four years, and by regular season standards, this is the best team the Warriors have played. I think that's why ratings are doing well.

But if the Warriors finish this in 5 games with four double digit wins, there doesn't appear to be much hope on the horizon. That would mean that the only challenger the Warriors faced in four year in the West was dismantled by them recruiting the best player from that team.

So if they do win the 3rd title and that constitutes breaking the league, they are to be condemned for succeeding at what LeBron has been trying to do for nearly a decade ?.

I can see Jordan bell getting a few minutes. He a rookie so bit inexperienced, but he’s not as clumsy as a traditional big and can help with some switches.

Everyone remembers Big Shot Bob’s game winning 3 in Game 5 (eventually went 7) yet the first 4 games of that series—all blowouts.

Game 6 Det won by 10, game 7 another blowout yet when we look back a lot of people only remember Horry’s game winner and classic game.

Just saying, first 3 games aren’t indicative of the next. We could be in for a classic finish and not know it yet.

We'll be fine without Iggy. We have plenty of playmaking and his defense is overrated. Livingston, Young, and Bell will just play a few more minutes. I actually wanted Young to get more minutes anyways.

Still holding out hope after such devastating news. Now this is what I call believing in your team! Respect! Their backs are against the wall, but crazier things have happened in sports. #warriorscinderellastory2018 #believe

I wasn't implying that there haven't been other blowouts in different series' in different years. It just that those dead set on changing the playoff format so we can "truly see the best teams play each other in the Finals" doesn't mean that'll be the most competitive, entertaining series.

Non-issue for GS.

Serious issue for them if he's out long term though. They NEED Iggy against Lebron. Durant can't guard him.

Iggy being out against the rocket is like having no ketchup or mustard to eat your hotdog. It won't taste as good but it's still a hotdog and you'll still eat it.

Enjoy every bit of this Warriors team. We might never see a better team assembled like Warriors ever again.
