Honestly I think the refs are doing a good job minus a few calls on both ends

LeBron ruined the Eastern Conference. NBA is ruined.

I really dont understand why Nance hasn’t been getting more minutes, he’s at worst like their 5th best player right?

Way too many whistles on both sides. Too many players in foul trouble while still in 3rd quarter. Dumb calls on both sides. Just let them play ffs.

Don't want to complaim about the refs, but i hate the whistles overall. I feel like one of the teams or both in the penetalty all game long.

Morris didn't kick his leg out. He jumped up to take the shot. Love came flying in and their legs tangled.

Legs can't get tangled if the leg isn't kicked out. As I've said, Morris's leg was out, they just showed the replay. Love was contesting sideways.

That was a bad call. Morris barely kicked out and Love was flying to him without even being position to defend in first case. That should have been a non call atleast. That is different from defender being on your hip and kicking out, the defender was in no position to really stop that shot.

Love was flying by him not at him. The rule now is you can't kick your leg out as far as I know, the case you're presenting is different. Stopping a shot isn't the barometer for whether that's a foul. Love was contesting the shot, sideways, and got tripped up by Morris's leg out. It's the latter that is the violation, though it doesn't often get called.

If that motion Morris made is a kick then he would be the worst soccer player in existence.

Just **** disgraceful, his foot moves maybe 2 inches

It wasn't intentional, but it's a natural movement that the league I think is trying to curb, just like putting a foot into a player's landing space. Momentum can take you there in either case, but in this case it had unintended consequences, tripping up a defender, and so got called.

That is a stupid call, there is a difference if the defender is next to you and you are kicking to draw foul. Love wasn't close and Morris was taking almost a regular shot. That should be a no call period. so if guys like Curry etc are shooting a defender can just jump from 10 feet out and get an offensive foul call on them?

That's **** stupid, it's a bad call it happens.

Yeah I think if they called it more consistently it would help curb habits or get players to shoot it differently. But they went with the letter of the law this time. If it gets called once in a blue moon (can't recall the last time I saw that called), then there's hardly incentive for players to make any adjustments. You just take the foul now and again; not worth making changes. League has to work with players and refs for consistency in calls.

Good hustle by nance to save that blown play. He always plays w/ a lot of hustle. I like him even though he makes young player type mistakes...
