The site is up just that the "Homecourt" link is broken. I've been able to sneak back in on a bookmarked thread though. The mods say that they are in contact with the old admin to help fix it but this is Dolfan's response:

Just saw Deadpool 2...to be honest I don’t usually watch that but went with some friends and it was pretty good. It was actually funny and entertaining. It’s not my forte but Ryan Reynolds had some good lines, pretty good stuff compared my recent movie experiences.

Anyone seen it?

Ps I need to watch part 1 now...

Pet peeve - why can't people understand the difference between dominate and dominant??? I see dominate used in the wrong context so much of the time.

Like Cavs were dominate against Selts last night. Smh Dominant people Dominant.

Maybe they were trying to say,

Rookie move, spud. If you knew you were gonna go see 2 with friends, you should've found a way to watch 1 first. Geez, do I gotta teach you everything?

Mrs kg and I plan on seeing it probably this Saturday. 1 was really good. We saw a 4 year-old in with her mom. I was appalled that anyone would take their kid to see that but whatevs. I mean, it's a superhero movie and all that but ... eek. Not. For. Kids. Folks.

 Gf said 2 hours before the movie that our friends had purchased the tix for part 2. I was like ummm, first off I’m not a sci fi guy...but ok I’m down. Oh btw it starts in a 2 hours...I’m like wait, don’t we have to watch part 1....she said nah it’s cool I’ll read you the synopsis...

SCREW THAT!

So after she ruined part 1, we went and saw part 2...like you said..don’t bring ur kids. In fact, I actually saw a few kids and their dad’s leaving early due to some violence and bad language. Pretty awesome though...you guys should be worried, I may turn into a sci fi geek...

You got some Ryan Reynolds dry humor in you kg. This is right up your alley. Lol. Really good I give it a 8.7/10.

Hey why not...they have all kinds of superheroes now..even some bros at the gym think they superheroes I think...one dude at the gym just started air kicking in front of the mirror like he’s Bruce Lee or something. I was thinking he needs to hyphy down on the speed and do some calisthenics first...

But seriously, a superhero for the sac.

Tight purple pants...what else..purple eye gear to match? You, Ben Stiller and Franks and beans can all dress up like Something about Mary...the three amigos style...(no not migos..)

In your FACE, nature.

Humans account for 0.1% of life on Earth, but have eradicated most other living things

A new assessment of all life on the planet has estimated that the 7.6 billion people on Earth make up for a mere 0.01%, but since the beginning of civilisation, humans alone have wiped out about 83 percent of all mammals in the wild and about half the plant species that ever existed
IB Times

Man has eradicated the majority of life on Earth

Many academics now believe we have already entered a sixth mass extinction of life in the Earth’s history. About half of the Earth’s animals are thought to have been lost over the past 50 years, with the destruction of natural habitats for farming, logging, development and general human consumption almost solely to blame.
Bird Guides

Scientists mapping the total mass of organisms on the entire planet have discovered humans make up just 0.01 percent—dwarfed by the mass of bacteria, fungi, earthworms and plants.

But, barely a sliver of the planetary pie, humans have driven the extinction of ancient megafauna, countless modern animals and even plants, the researchers report in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

I also just finished the second season of Atlanta and man, Donald Glover is firing on all cylinders at the moment, from "Atlanta" to his "This is America" video. Really a superstar of our generation.Sent from my iPhone using RealGM Forums

Glover is a really talented, insightful dude. Came totally out of nowhere for me. The 'Atlanta' series is supremely well-done. That Teddy Perkins episode .... still gives me nightmares. And, based on that middle school episode, somebody on the team creating that show grew up near me. Had to. That episode absolutely captured Killer Grove life back then. And that final scene/sequence in the finale was just great. Classic TV.

Scared NFL Makes Epic Mistake with Anthem Policy

In a statement released by the league, team owners decided that starting this season, players can stay in the locker room during the anthem. If players take a knee to protest, say, unarmed black and brown people being unjustly shot by law enforcement, commissioner Roger Goodell can potentially fine both teams and players.

Essentially, the league is trying to shove the protests out of sight by putting them in the locker room. And by fining players who want to publicly protest, it is also trying to make this a financial decision for players.

Didn't Liston throw this fight?

I had to wiki it. Pretty interesting and there is broad disagreement about it. Certainly the ref flubbed it. but the last paragraph is a good summary. there is more to it though

While Liston publicly denied taking a dive, Sports Illustrated writer Mark Kram said that years later Liston told him, "That guy [Ali] was crazy. I didn't want anything to do with him. And the Muslims were coming up. Who needed that? So I went down. I wasn't hit."[51] The fact that Liston didn't complain about the clear breach of boxing rules (being declared knocked out without a count) and Ali's obvious state of bewilderment, shouting at Liston "Nobody will believe this" and asking his handlers "Did I hit him?" confirmed most people's belief that Liston took a dive.[52] There have been a number of unproven theories as to the background to the purported dive including that Liston was threatened by the Muslims, or agreed to lose in return for a share in the more marketable Ali's future purses.[53]
