Haven't watched much GSW games because they're boring to watch, but wow, they have all become full-of-themselves pricks, haven't they? Flexing after a layup. GTFO.

There was a game today? GSW won? Did we draft Doncic yet? Only the last question is important.

I turn on the game if it's close. Games like last night i don't bother. If the W's win game 4, then I won't be turning on that series anymore. Not that anybody would care but I make the intentional effort to be sure I don't give them ratings from my house. Nothing new. Durant ruined basketball

Not that this is some hot take but man have the Warriors put the whole damn league in a no win situation. If you're a team that says screw it we're tanking and waiting them out you get ripped for it. If you're a team like OKC or Houston that pushes it's chips in and goes for it you get ripped for failing at that. Pretty much damned if you do and damned if you don't.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Yeah it sucks because it will likely be near impossible for anyone to get out of the west any time soon barring serious injury. And then they can almost withstand injury. I mean even without Durant they won 73 and I don't think Barnes was a big loss.

That being said, if Boston was healthy it might be a very interesting series with a team that can shoot like that...imagine current Boston with Hayward and Kyrie...they would be loaded and have all sorts of shooting and depth. Then Philly, especially if Fultz turns into something and then they probably add someone like Mikal Bridges or even Miles or Zhaire Smith or Jontay.

Especially if you jump in and start calling Tatum Rudy Gay.

WTH?!? Lol. I just PM’d the Mod about that. I loved Prime Rudy Gay and wanted him on the Suns with Amare back when Orlando went to the Finals during the off-season. Remember that talk? I just don’t think he advanced and played to his potential. Hell, I said it was a complement and still was fit to be tied. Smh, I really don’t understand it. I like Tatum a lot. I even said Tatum was better than JJ. Those guys are very touchy.

You know how I love Booker but I’ve never proclaimed him Kobe or franchise corner stone or and All NBA type yet, heck, I think JJ’s potential is greater than Devin’s. You have to be really special before I call you a franchise cornerstone type player and Tatum is a second banana IMO, that’s why I wanted JJ over Tatum.

I called Scottie Pippen a role-player. My definition of a role player is playing off the number 1 option. A role player can be an Allstar. See Klay Thompson. I get the confusing tho. A franchise guy is elite and a number 1 option that can get his no matter what.

Prime Rudy Gay is a put down....Wow?!?

Back to Ayton. I think he has that franchise number 1 option all NBA potential hands down. Luka, just worried about his ability to create separation.

I was joking. Yes, the Rudy Gay sounds like a put down. Not that I really care, but this was a compliment?

Tatum is fool’s gold. System kid. Doesn’t dominate the floor at either end. Straight line player. Not a play maker. Good shooter and scorer in flashes. Nothing says Harden Wade Kobe Durant Curry Kawhi Paul LBJ Melo. And in only one year of success. Nope, I can’t get past Rudy Gay.

Again, I don't care, but it wasn't surprising a few of them reacted the way they did, and I agree some were inappropriate particularly being in a position where they shouldn't be.

I think we will see a regression to the mean. Not saying he can't get better, but I don't think he will take a huge step unless he becomes the unquestioned #1 option/top percentile iso scorer on that Celts team, and with Hayward returning his minutes will take a hit and Brown still needs to get his. He will make at least a couple of All-Star games in the weak East but I like Josh's upside more as a Swiss Army Knife wing

Well being he's only played a year, this year is his mean. But I do agree that he is unlikely to shoot over 43% from 3 going forward consistently. But he was even better on defense.

He's surprised me. But yeah, with Hayward and Kyrie coming back his scoring is likely to go down but with more options he could face less defensive focus. But I can't say he hasn't been impressive.

Obviously Stevens utilizes everyone very well and people look good under him but I can't really knock Tatum for that.
